It would be hard to pull the wool over anyone with a bit of life experience. Oh you’re a managing director are you 🤔 A youngster is more likely to believe that and be very impressed.

It is a little sad that Adam has invented this life story which is mostly exaggeration. He thinks he needs to be an entrepreneur/company director/social media executive/author. He puts those lies out there which makes him a laughing stick to most. But those of us laughing at him wouldn’t give a crap if he just said he worked in a theme theme (and quit), made YT videos and self published a few pamphlets. Fair play, better than nothing but setting himself up as a VVIP entrepreneur who can’t even keep a little merch business open is just sad.

He’s very insecure. Maybe his parents expected a doctor or a solicitor and he’s trying to compensate or something.
Yes and it’s insulting and undermines people who have worked hard and actually earned that title.
I have friends who do some social media posts and slap on LinkedIn ‘Head of Marketing’.Ok Jan, tell me what a ‘KPI’ is. They’re definitely making up lack of achievement but don’t over do it.

At the end of the day, whether people like him or not, Adam has worked (hard???) to create the following he has on YouTube, at one time, he was probably the most informative and in the know British Disney vlogger. The good times are certainly now behind Twattan and he's clearly struggling to maintain his audience and is relying on over-done Disney vlogs, out of date books and tit catchphrases on merchandise.

Just to add, I still think he is a spoilt dick living off mummy and daddy.

Gary is a leech, not only on Adam, but also society - the bloke is a complete waste of oxygen in my opinion. The kind of bloke your parents would tell you as a child not to talk to in the street.

I agree to a point (especially when compared to gary c), but I think he (like a lot of youtubers in all niches) got lucky by starting youtube in the 2010s when the algorithms were favourable and easier to grow a big following. But yeah he has put in some work to grow his channel, but only the bear minimum. With his following he should have been able to monetise it much more. He has missed so many opportunities. He also refuses to invest in his channel or 'business' (so we get the crap camera work and editing) and won't do any videos aside the point and shoot home movies style. No ride POVs (probably because he won't shut up), no tips videos, no how to vids, no countdown of best this or that vids etc.

I agree to this to a large degree. Adam's videos, especially in the past, were not horrible by any standard. However, I think as an audience you deserve more than a blurry holiday video with clips stitched together, and especially if it's literally your main job. And as time has gone on, he has done absolutely no innovation in his videos (no overseas parks except for Paris, for example) and he has not improved his editing game in any way. It's still just an incoherent mess of video clips taken in order from his camera's memory card.

The other part I dislike is - why the apparent transparency on some matters (like mental health, anxiety, blahblah) and then absolutely zero transparency of how much the trips cost, how he funds them, or if Gary is even paying any of it? He even had ambitions of being some kind of trip consultant or planner in the past, don't you think people would find it interesting what it cost? And if there were any ways to make it cheaper?!

I, like you, have nothing positive to say about Gary C either. Okay, fair enough, some of his quips are occasionally funny the first time around (although completely non-family friendly) - I think he's also taking the absolutely piss out of the welfare system by showcasing his multiple lavish holidays per year, bringing home sizable hauls of pins and other tatty merch. Yeah, I know Adam pays for a lot of it, but that doesn't really matter - if you're healthy enough to travel half-way across the world every other month, you can get a little part time job to avoid leeching off the taxpayers.

100% this...

As much as it pains me to say, I somewhat enjoyed his lockdown vlogs, Chessington, Alton Towers and, in particular, Centre Parcs, mainly because he was transparent with the costs of each of the trips, showcased the variety of things you can do at the resorts, as well as providing relevant and useful tips surrounding visiting during COVID. I also think Adam came across more authentic in those vlogs than he does in his Disney vlogs, where he comes accross as an arrogant know-it-all twit. I wonder if that's because he actually enjoyed doing something new and different instead of mind-bleeping Flynn Rider.

In comparison, his recent Disney vlogs (since COVID) have included, the cruise where he wanked himself silly over being concierge, but didn't reveal any of the costs, fannied around with Disney characters like a child and then had a "panic attack" mid-meal so had his food sent to his CONCIERGE room. 4x WDW vlogs featuring the exact same tit camera work, same old content that fails to showcase any Disney experiences or useful information. And now we have Disneyland , where it is clear Adam has duck all knowledge, except for the fact the bed lights up (I suppose that's a first for Adam ;)). They both look fed up with the whole thing and with each other, which makes it even harder to watch... even to hate watch, especially the 1 hour 30 minute travel day.

I watched a few of the Cheers Ears vlogs off the back of the vlog that Adam featured them in and their vlogs are equally poor quality and bleeping dull!

This further confirms to me that the Disney vlogging scene is dead and those that are still trying to make a living from it are unrelatable, arrogant, narcissistic, entitled arseholes. The content is no longer interesting or relatable because Disney have self imploded over the last couple of years by removing many perks and pricing out middle class wage earners.

I no longer have an interest in going to a place that costs an extortionate amount of money, to stay in a cheap motel with Disney wallpaper and go to soleless money draining theme parks... which my wallet is delighted about.

Rant over.

I couldn’t just sit there and watch my friend pay for a meal no matter how little money I had.
I agree!! One of my best friends from childhood and I went to Disneyland in 2018. She is not well off by any means and we shared expenses - I got the restaurant bill one night, she picked up the tab the next night. She insisted on paying her fair share.

what strikes me as awkward is how they visit America all the time... but they don't have any interest in seeing anything around the park.
That’s nothing. They live on the edge of (what is arguably) the most culturally significant and historically-preserved continent in the world.

They could get return flights to around 40 nearby countries for less than a single ticket to Florida, and end up spending significantly less on accommodation and day-to-day spending when there too.

They are uncultured swines (and no, eating processed crap in different EPCOT pavilions doesn’t count).

It should be a criminal offence to visit Paris, arguably the best cuisine in the world, and eat a cheeseburger at the Rainforest Cafe.

All the Disney vloggers are guilty of this. As a kid we’d do 2 weeks at the parks then 1 week driving around Florida mostly doing the beaches. It was incredible.

But especially for Paris there is no excuse, there’s so many amazing things to do there and it’s only 30mins on the train direct from DLP but they’d rather do another Disney park with the same boring rides.

I think Paris is just personal preference and what youre in the mood for. If I'm going to Disneyland Paris then I'm in a different mood for a holiday compared to a city break. So I've never combined the two (but have been to Paris separately). But that may also be due to being in the UK so France is relatively easy and cheap to do compared to flying half way around the world

That’s fair enough but has Gary C ever been to the centre of Paris? Or any other European city outside of the UK?

Imagine him walking around Anne Frank House in Amsterdam and yelling “Do you do pins?!” to some poor Dutch girl who works there?
