I read article and bloody hell it's so callous! Stabbing a man outside a house when his son is inside and probably heard everything. The judge's comments were spot on

If you notice his dad was completely different, he supported his son, but answered questions and behaved decently, his wife just came across as a horrible woman. Not once did she or her son voice any concern for the victim or his family, at least her son is alive. Self defense is a ridiculous defense after stabbing someone 15 times, including his heart, lung and severing his spine

My instinct is that Mum is guilty straight off the bat. Mostly because if your baby was critically ill in hospital the last thing you’d be doing is asking the police why they are at the hospital. You wouldn’t give a duck who was rocking up would you really?! You’d be solely focused on your baby being ill.

The detective is the one from the very first episode where he was interviewing someone for attempted murder. The interview of him and his partner playing good cop/bad cop was so gripping. He is such a good policeman, he used to be a holiday rep if I remember correctly.

Last night was horrendous and only three years for life changing injuries

I saw on Twitter someone said they found the mum’s Facebook and she still has contact with the boy I hope the first baby is ok too.

Shame they couldn't convict the first babies parents. And the dad of the second baby is totally guilty did you see him in the interview room he didnt give a tit no emotion until he realised they had got him.

I think the mum of the second baby should have got done for child neglect or something. I'm sure people have in the past when their partners have abused their child and they've not done anything about it.

I found the lack of reaction from both of them when the policewoman was listing the life lasting injuries and damage that their child had suffered totally chilling. It didn’t appear that either of them were even asking about him either. Horrendous.

I found it really chilling too. I was crying when they listed his injuries and yet his parents showed nothing. Poor baby. I hope he’s now loved and cared for.
