As I said previously in response to the op, it's likely due to the fact he is a trad Catholic. They tend to have traditional views in regards to gender roles.

True, but it’s possible they won’t be friends for long since Trump has an incredibly fragile ego. The minute he thinks that someone in his administration is stepping on his toes or getting above themselves, he flips his lid and fires them, telling them they got above themself. This is what people who worked with him in the last one say. Apparently, everyone who surrounds him walks on egg shells. If something has to be presented to him in writing, it better have a large picture of him on the front of it 🤣 it’s hilarious but at the same time incredibly concerning.

I note that Ivanka isn’t keen to serve in the administration this time(!)

Up there with the Republican police chief who said his officers wouldn't aid or assist people who had Democrat signs or who he knew to support Democrats.

Both should be removed from any sort of public assistance positions

For once I agree with a government department, “reprehensible” is an apt word. How deep and ingrained must your hatred be to ignore people in need in a natural disaster area? When it was your literal fucking job to help them.

At this point Trump Derangement Syndrome needs to be investigated as a mental illness. It’s causing people to lose their basic humanity.

In my life experience the only thing binary about the human race is that people, regardless of politics, race, religion, social status, ethnicity, etc always fall into one of two categories; massive twat or not a massive twat. There are both of these on both of the political divides. Sadly, history has shown us that when it comes to extremes on either political side, the massive twats seem to rise to the top unfortunately.

Oh yeah, I think most people can be twat fluid if needed but I still maintain that massive twat/ non massive twat is binary in that some people are incapable of changing their level of twattishness regardless of the situation they find themselves in 😁😊


Edited to add: and if you acknowledge that you can be a twat, that kind of shows you aren’t a massive one in my books. Massive twats rarely have that level of self awareness x

If you need to lie, so be it. I think the Labour government lied, but they won. Hopefully they will do something good. I'm not covinced the Trump regime will do much good. :rolleyes: It is what it is.

Btw Julia Davis does a great job at monitoring, translating and reporting on russian medias. I think people don't realize how much Russians has been fed with a very strong anti-western propaganda on the russian state TV. In our western bubble we are quite blind at the contempt and hatred in Russia towards the West. They see themselves at war with us and exploit western weaknesses through disinfo reinforcing divisions.

I don’t know how this can interpreted as anything but a complete disaster for the Democrats. It gets even worse if you take a deep dive. Minnesota is considered one of the most progressive states in the Union. It’s Tim Waltz’s state FFS and it’s now considered “competitive”. Weren’t Florida and Ohio once considered swing states as well? Now considered Republican. In fact wasn’t Wisconsin once banker democrat? Hell even New Hampshire and arguably New Jersey, both Democrat traditionally, are getting squeaky tight. Yet there don’t appear to be any Republican states that are within 10% close for the democrats.

This absolutely must be worrying for the Democrats? What’s the plan? Just sit back and hope Trump fucks up?
 
People can have very different opinions on issues like abortion and none of them are wrong. They just see the issues from different perspectives. Its like some people have literally no ability to respect another’s right to hold a different opinion. I guess that’s why they end up spending their days in echo chambers.

I am fine with it. As long as anti-abortion people don't impose their views on me but when they work on enacting bans I feel like it goes further than what they feel wrong for themselves but forcing their beliefs on others.
