A 10 year long run is a long time to commit to something imo and it runs the risk of diluting the IP - like Star Wars and Marvel have. With the new lands going into the various Universal theme parks it's inevitable they wanted something - but the jury is out in this house lol

I do wonder if there is an audience; the fans of the films will not like it, and are the books even as popular these days? I suppose they are

The brief period when it became fashionable to like his music & image. Bloody loved his stuff, proper darkness in it long before Rick Rubin (although they were great as well).
