Just as we've always said on this thread, shock that her non-negotiable for Christmas is all of Alfie's family staying at their house. Suggesting that Dotty sleeps in the girls' room on Christmas Eve when she's older is wild, surely Poppy and Sean will want Dotty to have the magic of Christmas in their home and not be wondering why Santa only goes to Zoe's? 🤯

Yes and just with everything they do even in this vlog they seem to just leave her go off and play on her own while they pick a tree. They expect her to name the elf and not change her mind , yet they treat novie really babyish I bet they will keep her small and tiny but make ottie grow up quickly. It's strange to watch

Every other Christmas is fine but every single year at Zoe's? no way would I want to do that esp like you say when you have your first child.

I think it’s subconscious/subliminal. Zoe is that whole family’s meal ticket, even if they don’t say it they must know that. Alfie was never anything that big without her. Do you think Poppy and Sean could’ve seemingly gone their whole adult lives without working if they hadn’t piggybacked off her (undeserved imo) success? They all pander to her and enable her immaturity without even realising it probably.

She alarmingly basic but she got very lucky to get as big as she did in the social media world at the right time, and plenty of people are millionaires indirectly because of her.

There's also the unspoken threat of Zoe simply replacing the Deyes with the Suggs and inviting Tracy + partner and Joe and Dianne instead. There's no way that Nick and Amanda would give up their status of being the chosen grandparents that get to celebrate Christmas with Ottie and Novie.

No way would Zoe ever replace the Deyes. We’ll see pigs fly before she chooses her own family over them.

But that's not how Zoe wants her Christmas fantasy to play out. She wants them all to sit around in the matching PJs she bought and play games all evening and then wake up together on Christmas Day and watch the kids open their 500 presents while she is preparing the Waitrose ready meals next to Amanda who's doing the actual cooking.

It makes even less sense too because they all go to Amanda's for turkey pie on Christmas Eve. That was Alfie's non-negotiable. So the whole group gathers there, eats a meal, and then they drive together back to Zoe's to sleep? And Nick and Amanda are bored because Alfie/Zoe and Poppy/Sean all go to bed by 9. Alfie basically admitted they get to do everything because their house is the biggest. "Our house is just... so good for hosting". Crazy not a single 'non-negotiable' included Zoe's family. She used to at least go home to see her Dad and grandparents and now nothing. Joe will be with Dianne's family this year and Tracey may get a pity invite to Christmas because she lives at the end of the garden. I've never seen a family so rigid about rotating Christmas. That's the fair thing to do. But Zoe's been acting like she's married to the Deyes family since the very early days of them dating so why expect anything better.

I don't see her ever doing that. Plus Joe and Dianne seem to alternate between Australia and the UK for Christmas. Obviously there were a couple years where they couldn't because of Covid but they said years ago that that's how they plan to do it.
