Montessori toys are usually lovely and colourful is the point, not dull and under stimulating .To the last part, this is literally a rant thread on a gossip forum. Do people on this thread forget what website they’ve logged on to?

Colour and stimulation is crucially important in a child's development and on a basic level, quite literally just for her to have fun. Who has fun with beige? So yeah, that's why people care. Shame her own mother doesn't as long as she's matching her aesthetic.

I actually decided to get one of Zoe’s rings, not because it’s hers but because I thought it matched one of my other everyday rings. Will be interesting to see how it lasts because I’m not going to take it off and my Pandora ones are always fine and haven’t tarnished….will keep you all posted.

To be fair, montessori materials are actually colourful, not all of them are just natural wood. Especially for a child Otillies age.

Even if she didn’t want some of the clothes out for children nowadays that look like frozen and paw patrol vomited all over it, there are plenty of lovely plain or patterned colourful clothes that would be so much nicer than beige

Tbh even if he did propose on their 10 year anniversary it’s hardly romantic or exciting . Zoe is definitely the type who would’ve wanted to be a young bride and do the whole OTT princess thing. But in her mid thirties with a child and having been a forever gf it takes the shine off the whole thing. If they ever do get married it’ll be like his parents, no fuss and when they’re older and just doing it to tick a box and maybe solidify their assets and legal rights etc.
