I am actually so shocked they did their food shop at Lidl? Maybe they are finally feeling the pinch... probably because of lack of work that Zoe is doing so isn't making as much money anymore.
This made me giggle. I’m unemployed at the moment (stay at home mum) and don’t come from a super rich family however even I have savings and am not feeling the pinch. Zoe and Alfie are bound to have investments. As long as they have been smart with their money or hired someone smart to deal with their money, they are set for life.

Thought this from day one! The most beige and uninspiring outfits that they only dress her in because they think it’s trendy.
I wonder what she’s gonna think looking back at her baby photos when she’s 20. And maybe in the future Zoe and Alfie will regret their choices… but for the time being they’re just trend victims first and foremost and then parents.

The thing with the looking back on photos is Zoe is SO obsessed with recreating her childhood and all her photos are bright and fun colours because it was the 90s. You’d think she’d want pay to have similar bright fun pictures to look at. Not hideous beige outfits which are filtered!

I think Zoe dressing her daughter like that is very telling. She prefers to pretend she now loves beige like Alfie, rather than remember what she also likes and create a colourful world for her daughter. Because as far as I’m concerned, she used to love bright colours! But no… her daughter is gonna get beige and gray and other muted colours ‘cause that’s what boyfriend likes for the #aEstHeTiC. And if she ever answers a question about that, I’m sure she’s gonna play the “clothes have no gender” card. Which is true, but not the point in their case.

Part of the beige and dull clothing for ottie is wear she’s buying/getting gifts from. Places like Zara and other high end boutiques are devoid of bright colours even M&S went through a dull stage last year (it’s better now and there’s more bright things). There was a really ugly muted baby trend over the last couple of years. I don’t know why baby’s need to have trends but it was something I noticed whilst purchasing gifts for people who’ve recently had children.

In other news… and I hope you’re all sitting comfortably… Zoe actually left a positive and supportive comment on Dianne’s post of her FTF jump.
