my face when someone tries to market themselves as a sustainability influencer when they take more flights than most people do buses....

Zanna Van head is a fraud. So you should be frightened to talk about it......so I make that SIX trips if you include the upcoming staycation in the space of 2 months? Or less? DISGUSTING. YOU HAVE NO WORRIES ABOUT SUSTAINABILITY, CARBON FOOTPRINT, OR COVID. All the sustainability etc is just for the gram. This woman boils my blood. Prob scoffing bacon sarnies away from the camera too!!! . What a disgusting fraud she is.

I think it might be likely that she might have to quarantine. I follow another travel account who is doing a lot of work on what countries might be taken off the safe list- the gov seems to be basing this on infections per 100k over 7 day average and 20 seems to the cut off. Switzerland is currently 18 per 100k. So depending on how it progresses and how long she's there for, it could happen.

Surely she'll face backlash for that though. Her followers forgive and forget most things but it will be such an obvious flout of the rules. Unless she extends the trip to Switzerland and when she arrives back can go straight to the new house.

From the Uk gov website:

You are not allowed to change the place where you are self-isolating except in very limited circumstances, including where:

  • a legal obligation requires you to change address, such as where you are a child whose parents live separately, and you need to move between homes as part of a shared custody agreement
  • it is necessary for you to stay overnight at accommodation before travelling to the place where you will be self-isolating for the remainder of the 14 days
  • there’s an emergency

I'm just saying I can see her skirting around the regulations, not that what I said was legal or what the government recommended. The government is recommending NOT traveling unless is essential, and look at Zanna. I doubt she cares about what the UK Government website says.

oh yeah I didn’t think what you said was a legit suggestion! Just wanted to point out that because it’s so clearly stated she’d be stupid to do it, and I’m sure people would report her, so she’d probably be fined

Seriously, if she's getting that much "backlash" (which I'm guessing is actually just polite DMs expressing concern for her health) she could just, like, not go.
 
I really hope they end up adding it to the list but I can assure you she Will still move and like somebody else has said find a way to loophole the rules! She can’t hide now she’s already there and it’s plastered all over the net and she’s banged on so much about her moving date! How can she possibly avoid it!?
