At the end of that thread everyone was discussing M&S perfumes and other decent 'dupe' brands (and I now need to plan a visit to my local store to have a good sniff of them all!)

I usually get gel polish in my nails but haven’t been for a while as trying to stop the addiction. Can anyone recommend a good black nail varnish that I can use at home please? Something that will withstand my constant hand washing! Oh and glossy not Matt!

I wouldn't recommend the Nails Inc one anyway - took loads of coats, tip wear started within hours, went dull after a day or two etc.

Not sure what’s in but I like mine short and glossy. Have a look on instagram maybe for some inspiration? The gel bottle inc is a good place to start.

On the odd occasion I've got my nails done, I've always had acrylics with normal polish (so I could wipe it off and apply my own colour when they started to grow out because I'm a cheapskate 😂). This time around though, I was talked into gel nails. I couldn't really understand the lady who talked me into them so I just went along with it, but now I'm confused what I ask for when I go back - do I get infills, a bit like you do with acrylics? Or do they take them off completely and start again each time?
 
Any recommendations for a really lush,
nourishing lip balm?

Similarly, a gloss or glaze to put over lipstick that isn't super sticky?

Sick of dry and/or sticky lips.

Summer Fridays, expensive but worth it. I often wear the clear ones at night as a lip mask but the tinted ones are nice for day if you want colour. They usually launch a Christmas set with three of them that’s great value.
