Some real GEMS from The Dixie Gas Show

-Will shows a table showing a metal "Colored Men" sign (says nothing)
-Lots of slow pronouncing of Coked-da-cola - trying to make it sound correct
-Lots of "Hard to Take it All In"
-Lots of "Brings back alot of mammaries"

Dawn sees some vintage thermometer soda signs and says "Are those scales?"

We learned that Donald Duck Bread from the 50's (early 60's) reminds Will of his childhood.

And there's a "Swinnnnnnn bicycle" - ya know a Schwin.

We also learned that when it comes to bikes.........Dawn is suggested to like a banana seat bike with the bar straight across (boy's bike from 70's/80's) and Will like's the bar that is angled down (girl's bike from 70's/80's). The placement of the bar between the seat and handles make no difference in reality, but as a Gen-Xer who lived on her bike in the 80's, there used to be a clear distinction between girl and boy bikes, and Mr 80's kid Will should have known that.

It was painful. My husband stuck with it shouting out most of Will's nonsense while we watched, but it was sort of a snooze fest.
