Her ADHD rant and having to wait 4 years to do the assessment.

Oh feck off! It’s because of knobs like you jumping on the trend of being ADHD that has caused the waitlist to rocket. You’ve managed 30 odd years with your supposed ADHD so I’m sure you can wait a little longer. By then no doubt you’ll have forgotten all about your ADHD much like your bad back which you conveniently forgot all about when you were pregnant. As for scraping together the cash to get a private diagnosis, you mean Chris the poor bastard will have to scrape together the cash for your latest whim. You certainly ain’t scraping together anything Amelia with your own money!

This is not a rant about people who have ADHD by the way. I used to work with children with SEND and saw first hand the struggle some parents had getting a diagnosis so their child could access medical and educational support. She’s a bleeping adult, who merely wants a diagnosis so she can have a trendy label to put in her Instagram bio and to explain her laziness. Note how she’s ramping up her health conditions now her little boy is approaching nursery age. She doesn’t want to pop out another kid so needs another excuse to explain why she can’t possibly get a proper job.

This has absolutely hit the nail on the head. It’s the latest insta craze and it’s making really genuine ADHD sufferers have to wait in the system when they really need support and help to cope. Amelia is coping just fine with her lazy lifestyle. She doesn’t know the genuine struggles of working with children and the challenges of LEAVING THE HOUSE (ie out of pyjamas and ready before 8)

Thank you for this, my 6 yo is autistic and we’ve had hell of a battle getting him into SEN school. He’s now home for school holidays and my god, I feel broken.

Honestly I hope that Amelia does not have a SEN child she could never cope. She moans about such trivial stuff while we’re here in the trenches, she could never deal with it.

It’s awful at the moment- my old setting used to have 10 children per class. Individualised care and educational support. Now it’s fit to bursting with 28 children with high needs with cheap unqualified staff and they are building an additional unit to fit more children in.

Families with children with genuine needs are being shunted aside in the diagnosis process by adults wanting a trendy label either for their kids to warrant their tit parenting or for themselves as it’s currently the trend. Meanwhile the genuine cases are falling through the cracks and struggling to cope at a time when children and families desperately need the support.

I used to work with a little boy with ADHD and we had to rotate staff as he would burn people out within 2 hours. He didn’t sleep, he was bouncing off the walls 24/7. His mum was a single mum and had a nervous breakdown (which ultimately was the best thing for her in terms of accessing help but it shouldn’t have had to get to that point). She ended up getting respite care because of it. Meanwhile you have Amelia moaning because she can’t get a diagnosis whilst she does her colouring in pages. It’s a joke.

I swear she only wants a diagnosis so she can do videos on how she copes as a ADHD mum. She’s managed 30 odd years without a label or being medicated, she doesn’t work so there’s no need for her to quell her supposed ADHD. Yes it would be nice to have it confirmed but nowadays the questionnaire they use to diagnose is so generic and people know what they need to say to get a diagnosis so it’s barely worth the paper it’s written on.

Thinking of you during these long holidays, see if there are any SEND play sessions in your area- they can be a lifesaver!
 
Agree she just wants a diagnosis for content and to blame flitting between things and not sticking to anything.

I'm sure most of us would have ADHD if we went by what SM told us alone but I imagine it's much deeper than that as people have said above.

Yeh she’s very unwell. Shows as much that she keeps trying to convince the world that she loves motherhood and she loves having a new friend to play with. v odd individual who clearly needs help
 
She’s copying other colouring books anyway. If you go through her doglet and froglet following, there’s a number of creators using the exact same imagery check out rachie.doodles for example.

So, OBVIOUSLY I then researched more, the original designer is someone called Bobbie Goods. Either she’s ripping her off or this Bobbie goods has
licenced a design programme that colouring enthusiasts can use. Fair enough if she is doing this for private use, but to alter the design slightly with the inclusion of the frog and then sell it for commercial use is unfair to the original creator in my opinion. Go look for yourselves and see what you think! To me it’s bloody identical!
