He has but I think he was genuinely weighing the options as he knew Claudia liked him a lot and so wanted to make it work. I think Claudia acting like a child probably helped make his decision. She wouldn’t even let him speak.

I also if she left him alone and didn't keep trying to guilt him into staying with her he would have made the decision much sooner.
