I was just rewatching the winner announcement and I loved how buzzing and close the couples were. I know we have our moments with Ron but I think his friendship with Kai was genuine. It was lovely seeing them hugging it out and buzzing.

The “three musketeers” always felt very showmancy and fake to me. I felt Kai and Ron were more genuine in how they interacted with each other.

Kai and Sanam winning must be baffling for all the other contestants (bar Ron and Lana). It is hilarious.
I wonder if Will and Jessie had got to the final, as they really should have done if it wasn't for the couples choosing compatability, if they would have come third ahead of Tom and Samie?

I agree I think Ron and Kai have a very genuine friendship:

ah see I never watch the last week of episodes as I think all the couples are just focused on the final, no one wants to upset anyone etc plus the fact that’s when they do all the dates etc which I just find so cringe!

Yes the last week is always dull. Too many set pieces like babies, parents, dates, lots of declarations of being exclusive or girlfriend and boyfriend 😴

Think they would, probably a case of more people not liking Tom and Samie than people liking Will and Jess more though.
Otherwise Tanya Twopercent brilliant. I would say I actually felt sorry for her but she’d be quick to counter it wasn’t her fault and what did I know 😉
 
They got lower than a man whose most remembered for not being able to speak properly.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a contestant fail so spectacularly with her gameplan the way Olivia did. Stealing Kai when he didn’t even step forward for her to make impact, Kai ditching her for Tanyel right after. The attempted romance with Tom (they’ve got history), him kissing Ellie. The forced romance with Kai to her trying to be the main storyline in Casa and bringing Max back. The cringey attempt at doing a back and forth with him at the firepit when he didn’t give a shit, her desperate attempts to keep that storyline going despite him not giving a shit. Let’s also not forget the cringey attempts at her trying to be a meme throughout every episode.

She just failed on so many levels. The only thing I found disappointing was that she got away with her treatment of Zara and Tanyel.
