Does anyone else wonder if their age has an influence with levels of enjoyment watching Love Island. I used to LOVE every series and looked forward to it but ever since the first winter one I just don’t enjoy it as much. Don’t know if it’s getting older or if the show has actually gone downhill. I would also get the app and vote etc, watch on time etc. Now I watch an hour later so I can ff all the ads (which also means missing the votes) and I genuinely couldn’t care less who wins this year 🤷🏼‍♀️
 
I don’t think I can be bothered watching the rest now. We’ve got the talent show tonight, meaning it’ll be baby challenge at some point this week, final dates and nothingness now as they know the end is in sight. Is the final next Monday?

It’s definitely gone downhill when you compare the current format to the first few series. I would enjoy watching those again. I know a lot changed because of protecting the mental health of the contestants but ultimately we want drama and there was drama in bucket loads early on.

Plus the contestants weren’t trying too hard to get to the final. There were no PLT deals or Ann summers themed hideaway. It’s all so forced and repetitive now, like Tanya doing the speech after the DJ set. Has been done the last couple of years. (Was Liam the first?). I am glad they seemed to have ditched the big gestures for asking to be boy/girlfriend though.

But, I do wonder if younger people accept it more because of how social media/the influencer world is these days. I can’t tolerate much of that either!
 
If I was a brand I wouldn't work with any of these cunts, if they can't even be honest about what was said on camera to each other than they're not gonna be honest promoting a product, its like that time a few years back a youtube channel pranked a lot of reality tv stars from Towie and Georide shore and Love Island and they gor Zara Holland from Love Island S2 to promote a beauty product and told her it had cyanide in it and to specifically mention it had cyanide in it to her followers and the fucking ifiot did it, cunts with no brain cells, whole point was to show they dont know what they're flogging and just after a quick buck, brands are just as bad for working with them they all just wnat money
