Hes planning on playing the Olympics next year. Hope he losesAs long as players just keep stopping him from getting the calendar slam...that's all I'm clinging to because the bloke has done everything else...no Olympic gold singles medal though.

I know, I do think he was being genuine, but it made me laugh that in doing so, he inadvertently showed off his youth and vitality compared to Novak's age.

I think that was a nice speech from Novak. He gave Carlos the credit he was due and also said that he had won matches at Wimbledon he maybe should have lost.

I’m very glad to be going on holiday tomorrow, I don’t think I can cope with the post-Wimbledon blues after such a fantastic final. That match was incredible. Carlos deserved this so much! 
Someone asked earlier if there is a thread for the ATP / WTA in general, is that something someone could create? Would be nice to chat about other tournaments and slams through the rest of the season!

The way he said something about how he had won matches he should have lost ‘so it’s even stevens’ or something kinda ruined it for me. Hinting that he should have won today…which he didn’t as he wasn’t the better player!
