Being an actor is basically 'let's pretend' and 'dress-up'. You have to be a bit weird to want to do that. I'm generalizing of course. I think actors outside of the US are less mad.

Paloma Faith, one of my all-time least favourite celebs. She talks like a stupid person and she's always carrying on as if she's a long-time serious professional musician. She makes out she got by on her sheer musical know-how, when it was really because she used to flash her tits from behind a fan as a burlesque performer.
