Which Celeb is really annoying you? #3

I think that just because a competition show worked well for a few years doesn't mean it should be rolled out every year forever. IMO, Strictly should have finished ten years ago, I'm a Celeb too. Bake Off wasn't the same once it moved channels. I love Sewing Bee but even that's getting a bit tired now, especially when the presenter keeps changing each series and the contestants start behaving like they know they will get a social media career out of it so they play up for the cameras.

Come up with some ideas. Commercial and Non-commercial Media are DESPERATE for new formats. You could become a millionaire! I agree with everything you say, especially regarding Sewing Bee. Contestants are too wise now, it's all just a gig for some of them. Ugh, it's so vile.

I think they should have followed the lead of Masterchef with Strictly and done a couple of series of Strictly: The Professionals.

Masterchef is another one that's lost its way a bit. The level of the contestants is really high and the food they produce isn't anything that a home cook can really relate to. I get more out of watching the skills test on the professional version.

Masterchef is total drivel. Okay, I do have a massive issue with that gurning twit Greg Wallace. But that aside. Just produce a simple, easy, show; 'Top Cook or something. Where 'normal' people just produce very easy dishes everyone can cook without the whole hoo-ha. Even 'top slow-cooker' would do for me. I cook most of my stuff using a slow-cooker ... it's so easy, so cheap and so nutrious.

I don't have an air-fry thing, but produce a show using that. I bet a lot of people would like info on that. BBC is so full of pretentious bleeping tit these days. Delia Smith made her fortune because she wasn't full of tit. Okay, she was totally middle-class. But we forgave her because she wasn't ramming it down out bleeping throats in a pretenious manner. It's NOT HARD. That's what drives me bonkers.

Jamie Oliver, another one jumping on the 'I'll write a children's book' to make more money bandwagon. I was most upset to see that his effort has pretty much upset every 'first peoples' group going. HAHAHA. Oh dear what a shame. Stick to cooking you prat.

I like Jamie Oliver. His food is good, and generally easy to cook if you're not a skilled chef. He did great work with school dinners, and his £1 meals are really helpful to those on a tight budget. We're big fans in my house.
But why does he think that he's qualified to be a children's author, just because he has loads of kids? I bloody hate celeb authors anyway, Dawn French, Richard Osman, Fern Britton, the whole lot of them. Leave writing to actual authors!!

George Clooney. Wind your neck in mate. Seriously, these mega rich 'celebrities' have seriously lost their tit over Trump. The best comment I've seen is: "In my life I've needed a doctor, a dentist, a plumber, an electrician, a builder and even a taxi driver, I've NEVER needed a celebrity". :ROFLMAO:

I get the sentiment behind that, but most people would feel lost if they weren’t allowed a tv ever again or never got to see a film in the cinema.
I’m talking actors not celebrities per se, but don’t underestimate them all for entertainment values.
Lockdown was a good example - most actors were on their knees with not being able to work and with no help at all. Most people staying home were glued to Netflix and boxsets - people soon forget.
