WhatMummyMakes #8 Raisins and mayo are foods of the devil, but pastry and cheese are simply next level!

Nini & I spent a few days in the Northumbrian cost. It’s MY happy place.
We then headed to MY favourite beach.
Picked up MY favourite scotch pie.
MY happy place (she elaborated once again)
Then she dragged a seasick Nina on a boat ride. It really is Becky’s life ft Nini isn’t it

Me me me. Such a selfish mother.

Also wtf is with this caption - scratchingsssss…coz… shnacks 🤨 it’s like following an illiterate teenager with her language sometimes

What is she on about with this story about going on a bus into town at 8 years old? I'm the same age as her and at 8 years old, which was only the very late 90s, I definitely did not go on buses alone and if I had done someone would've stopped me and taken me home! We weren't even allowed to walk home from school alone at 8 years old.

Shnacks seems to be her new word and every time she uses it, it makes my skin crawl.
And din-dins? I can’t work out if she actually talks like that or if she just types it because she thinks it makes her look fun.

how old is she? I’d have been 8 in 2000 and not a chance! I remember being allowed to walk the very short walk to meet my friend by myself when I was 10 and to the shops and stuff like that but not on buses etc

Maybe Bex's mum was trying to get rid of her?
"On the bus you go, see you never!"

I never post here but always read. Nina’s reaction to eating the cockle or winkle whatever it was… I’m very much for getting my children to try a variety of foods, however Nina seems to automatically say she likes it for her mother’s benefit. Her face and reaction says the opposite. I find it really sad to watch 😢

It’s really sad, and also, who really expects their child to like cockles ? Seriously

And best time bex take some paper and pens for nini to play with while you're waiting for an hour. Everywhere she goes she's never organised. You have a 4 yo fgs. I know she's your BFF but come on

My handbag is full of all sorts of stuff for my kids and has been for the last 5 years 🤣 no matter what I can allways find a little pad of paper and a pen in my handbag for entertainment emergencies 😅
