Actually can’t believe she took a 4 year old to see Downton Abbey!!!
If I was in that cinema (not that i’d go watch that crap i’m far too young at 36) and a four year old was there I would not be happy. No way Nina or any 4 year old would sit that long she’d definitely be a bother to the other cinema goers.
But hey as long as Queen Bekky of Cheese and pastry gets to see her film and is happy then screw everyone else.

I’ve just caught up with this thread and I actually can’t believe it!! What a FREAK this woman is - who takes a 4 year old to the downton abbey film?!? wtf is wrong with her!!!! Get a baby sitter and go with your husband, rather than dragging your child with you who won’t be interested, care or follow the storyline. Imagine being another customer trying to watch your film where there is a 4 year old chatting away and fidgeting like mad. Poor Nina, being made to be a surrogate friend for her mother as she is clearly a friendless saddo.

What the duck!!! She is one sad pathetic lonely women . I can't actually believe she did that. She is a selfish wierd as hell, awful taste in bags, suffocating obnoxious women. I really can't stand her. As much as mynini irritates the hell out of me I really feel sorry for her. What a messed up childhood she has she will run for the hills once she grows up and realises what a freak her mum is.
I just can't get over what a twit she is. Just when u think she can't get any worse she does this. Selfish cow.

I actually would go and see Downton but it would not even cross my mind to take my 4 year old, I took her to see Clifford the dog and she was bored at that! It's very unfair on Nina, she is not your surrogate best friend she's your daughter! There are so many things wrong with her parenting but here she is dishing out advice to other parents, trust me Bex take some advice yourself and stop deleting and blocking anyone who dares question you, we are all saying what everyone else is thinking!

I sort of feel a bit sorry for her today.

No one celebrates that her book is done so she has to buy herself a present as clearly no one else cares.

Has no friends to go to the cinema with so takes her four year old (#freenini)

She never shows any kind of meet ups with friends - at best we’ve seen one of Nina’s friends a few times. But it’s not like she’s against posting photos of her with people as she had loads of selfies with the photographer on her book shoot. She just doesn’t seem to have anyone to actually hang out with.

She seems to have no real hobbies, no friends, a weird job that doesn’t seem particularly fulfilling either… I genuinely wonder if she’s a bit depressed

Yea u make a good point. If she wasn't so smug I'd feel sorry for her

I think it’s because she’s a snobbish twit who thinks she’s better & superior than anyone else. ala mrs bucket

How on earth would a 4 year old have the faintest bleeping clue about what’s going on in the Downton film? Its an adult story - for fucks sake my 10 year old wouldn’t understand it, or care to. Sorry about the swearing but I’m absolutely gobsmacked, she really has surpassed herself this time.

Came straight here like everyone else when I saw the downton story! Wtf?!
Full disclosure I love downton and binge watched it when my 2nd baby was born in January. I actually took him to the cinema to see it - as he’s 4 months old and we went to baby cinema! My oldest is Nina’s age and it’s just not appropriate- there’s not anything I’d worry about him seeing but it would be so boring for him. He’s a normal child who won’t sit still!

Wtf?? Downton? I've never seen it is it even OK for a kid to watch at home? Is there no sexual references etc? Also she has Fridays off and it's drab weather, take her to sodding soft play then like a normal 4yo

There's no sex or swearing, but a little kid would be really bored. I'm guessing she just fed Nina snacks to keep her quiet. My parents used to do it when I was little and they wanted to see a grown-up movie (we didn't have any family near by to look after me). I remember sitting through some Woody Allen film when I was about six, with my dad doling out maltesers to me one at a time.

I haven’t seen either movie, but I remember watching one of the early series and it was a plot line that Lady Mary had entertained a visiting man in her bed, and then he died so they had to try and move the body so no one knew he’d been there. If the movie is on the same line it wouldn’t be appropriate for a four year old?!

This is very true. I found it quite sad that she’d bought herself a (hideous) bag with a card to herself. Probably because she has no one else that cares.

Mum of the year Becky McBeckingson is out on another frolic in the vast wilderness of some northern field in the middle of nowhere with bff MyNini.
Ever the relatable single parent, she laments to her audience about how This parenting malarky is so fatiguing sometimes, and it makes her giggle as Nini continues her act of defiance, by whinging anc whining whilst on this nature walk.
maybe bcoz she’s BORED Becky. She’s bored of ur crappy trips in meadows and castles and derelict medieval structures and antique shops.
your forcing the poor kid to March up a hill in her sandals and flimsy dress which was even making me out of breath, whilst it’s quite evident u don’t get much movement in your own personal routine, don’t try and smash ur target in one afternoon with your 4yo. ESP when there’s not A single child friendly activity to do. Could’ve taken a football atleast you selfish cow.
anyway all’s well that ends well & the day ends with Nina posing up against a cobbled wall with a rocket lolly in her gob (most likely to placate her to get that money shot) and to prove that she, unlike the rest of us, is far superior in her parenting even in the midst of a full blown tantrum (nini saying she’s bored) she managed to keep her cool and nini enjoyed the day (yeah right).
