I'm sorry it's taken me a while to get back to you but I actually really enjoyed it. It's based on a true story which I wasn't aware of until the end. If you haven't already give it a watch! 😊

Hopefully others who have watched the whole series (3 Body Problem) will reply, but from what I've seen so far...

TBH I'd never heard of it (neither the TV show nor the books) and, purely based on the trailer I'd seen, I wasn't too keen but the OH put it on and I got drawn in!

I was expecting a mix of Dune and GOT. Whilst it does have those elements of other civilisations/worlds, it's more than that (possibly trying to be too many things and spreading itself a bit too thinly perhaps, if anything).

I feel like it has a touch of Black Mirror in some aspects....both dark sci-fi shows with technology-based themes, ethical/moral dilemmas and a little something else which I can't quite put my finger on....but it's not the same, so don't expect it to feel like a BM spin-off.

Cast-wise, there's lots of familiar faces (mostly cameos), which were a nice surprise and fun to spot.

I don't want to give too much away but it has lots of aspects to it - science & technology, mystery, fantasy, some horror and even a bit of crime drama.

I can see why it wouldn't be for everyone and some Sci-fi purists could have a problem with it but we're really enjoying it so far. We also LOVE Black Mirror and whilst 3BP has certain similarities in theme/tone, they're also pretty different shows. If you generally like Sci-fi though then I'd definitely give it a go. 👍

Stars In The House Thirtysomething reunion on YT... used to watch it religiously but shocked at just how many major plotlines i seem to have forgotten

The Claremont Murders (More 4) - have to wait until Friday for next episode 😏 True story from 1996 in Australia - don’t remember it being in the news here though.
