I started this last night. I didn't see the UK one at all but know what happens so have gone for the Aussie version.

Found this episode so stressful!! It reminded me of my own family and it was really overwhelmingly talking all at once and noisy. It was amazingly well done.

What a wicked man Ben Field is!
He killed Peter Farquhar and attempted to kill Peter's neighbour Ann Moore-Martin. He also committed fraud and burglary against them. Nasty, manipulative cretin.
The choices of actors is very good but I can't get the following out of my head... I read an article where Peter's brother Ian talks about how the series has turned their tradgey into entertainment so I feel a little weird watching it but I think so far they have approached it sensitively and focus more on the victims than the criminal.

I'm 5 episodes in and it's just seems to be a one long gay, soft porn film if I'm honest. I usually love Ryan Murphy's stuff. I'll probably finish it but it's not one his best. It also randomly stars Russell Tovey.
