I started watching The Curse of Glee (I think it was called) last night, but had to go out part-way through so just finished the first episode now. I was never a watcher of the show but I knew who the cast members were and read various reports about what they were up to.

I didn't realise Cory had such a troubled background - he seemed so wholesome! I found it sad how he wished to be famous but then when it happened ... well, it's a tale in being careful what you wish for, for sure.

It was sad and frightening hearing someone say that their schedules were basically social media (they all had to Tweet each day to get their followers up), dance rehearsal (six hours!), dance, voice recording in the soundbox of the songs ... over and over again ... did I hear 18-hour days or imagine it? I think it was six days a week too. Then there was all the publicity stuff they had to do on top ... their lives weren't their own.

I'm pleased that one of those interviewed spoke about Lea Michelle's difficult reputation - it was glossed over for so long.
