The most amazing theme tune ever written
Thing is its fascinating what that was written for, rather though Robin Hood being purely a myth there's no direct person with that name the closest being Robert of the Hode apparently I think was spelt as well. Actually in the ballads about the legend was the noting about St Mary's in some way, what back in the 1100s was a riot and when 13 monks were expelled and founded Fountains Abbey quite essentially, that went onto to become the largest of the Cistercian monasteries in the country, is about 3 miles whats now a ruin that is Fountains from where I was born and moved back to (being Ripon originally spelt Inrhypum in Old English (before the Norman Conquest of 1066 I think) in 2018
Cistercianism was just really a more strict form of Catholicism by Benedictine Monks sort of from France
