My dad was a scouser, born in 1940 and a guitar player/ singer. He died in 2019 but he always said there were much better bands in Liverpool than the Beatles. He also hated how John Lennon was seen as a 'working class hero'.
But my dad loved George Harrison! My dads family and Georges family were family friends, and his dad was a bus driver i think. My dad always said George was the real 'working class hero' of the beatles. Which to my late dad- a socialist, union man, proud scouser, was extremely important! lol :)

My dad was born and bred in Huyton. Im not scouse though, my mum and dad moved to the Lake District in the late 1970's. But my dad, he was a troubled man but he did pass on things to me- Music, Football, Politics and Social Justice. :)



This is totally different the music i normally listen to, but i absolutely love it!
