This was on radio 6 yesterday morning and I hadn’t heard it for such a long time, forgot how much I love this song. Played it several times since, including right now ❤️

 
Every song has a story. I was living in NYC for a while in the 70's. Their radio was strange compared to ours in those days. They played the same twelve songs or so all day every day for a week with some exceptions.

This song was one of those exceptions. I've always loved piano-driven tunes so when this one started I perked right up. It was love at first listen but I didn't catch the name of of the performer or song title so I rang the radio station. They put me through to the producer of the show and we had a chat until the DJ played the next song and she could ask him what it was called.

I still love it now. ❤
