Haha this'll make ye laugh @LittleMy (did me anyway when learning least some parts of the Gáidhlig language haha, though not at the time of first listening to Bruce talk about a review when they last then played in Glasgow lol)

When he explains his Great Grandmother on his fathers side (though dunno about my Great Grandfather if he ever spoke it on my again fathers side for me haha, Andrew (my Granddad Andy) Bruce) whom spoke more Gáidhlig than she did English had this great Gáidhlig expression of póg mo thóin, translates directly to kiss my ass in English. At the very end after a bit of silence in that track haha, I just burst out laughing my head off! 😆😆😆

Loved Bruce's sense of humour he was amazing!

Ye heard of Peat and Diesel @LittleMy ? I think they're amazing! (Like the Scottish equivalent of the Pogues, their name Pogue is really like a sort of take on Pog Mo Thoin lol, though Pogue Mahone think is the sort of pre-anglican spelling in Irish Gaelic (Gaeilge)

(nothing compares to when Boydie sings "where the royal rivals roar!"

Amazing is Loch Maree Islands, lol there's a video of someone singing that (was written by Kenneth Mackenzie in the 50s I think lol, was going around in his think was a van or something, had no radio, didnt write songs and couldnt sing so he'd make up songs, essentially is a hunting stalking song) at a celebration of winning a cup in shinty lol them pushing the ceiling boards through haha

Calum "Boydie" MacLeod has me in bits usually laughing my head off!!

Martin Gillespie's response is funny!

Love folk music haaha

The only song I think that was written in Ripon, though isnt strictly the original version (not even his revised version either) lol
Born Riponian me haha, is kind of like living in a living museum is Ripon goes back centuries literally, well the Wakeman (not Hornblower) goes back about 1,300 years

Belongs to a category (not sure of its actual name as a sort of category some may say is least a genre haha) of songs which are utterly pointless and are nearly always sang quick (not sure if its just the chorus/séiste which is or if its the whole songs or some of them lol), means To Tell You The Truth
