Weight Loss and Healthy Living #13 Tattlers Transformation

How's everyone's weight loss going? Mine doesn't seem to be moving as much in June as it did in May!

My final May weight (28th) was 16st. I treated myself to a Chinese takeaway, and the following morning I was up 4lbs. Stood on the scales today and now I am 15st 12lbs - I suppose most people would be buzzing to lose 6 lbs in just over 2 weeks, just took me too long to get under that 16st mark!

Mine is very slow, lost 1 stone since Jan 😅 I suppose it would be quicker if I was more disciplined, I've also been diagnosed with IBS and PCOS which goes against me 😒

Finding it hard as I know it's not a competition but my friend is on one of the weight loss injections and she's lost more in 2 weeks than I have all year 😢

As slow as I'm going I have to keep reminding myself it is going in the right direction and I don't have a lot to lose. 16lb to be in healthy BMI and I started in overweight BMI

Betcha it was the salt in the takeaway! Restaurant food is a b*tch in that regard. Congrats on the loss so far, keep on going!

I'm stalled a bit after a really good May, but my body composition is changing, the apron belly overhang seems smaller and I can feel a lot more muscle - basically if I'm not at work or asleep I'm filling haynets and shovelling manure at the moment, so I'm hoping that the standstill is just down to losing fat and gaining muscle.

I started calorie counting at the beginning of May. I've lost 9lb since then but havent lost anything in the last week but I am putting it down to PMS as yesterday was day 1 of my period so hopefully the scales will show a loss in the next few days. I did have a take away today (first one in 6 weeks whereas i normally used to have 1 a week). I've also started spinning, swimming and walking more frequently. It is so frustratingly slow. I want to have reached a 1 stone loss in 3 weeks time. I have a big holiday at the end of the year and want to lose 2.5stone by then.

I do feel less bloated and I need a belt with some of my jeans. I also noticed my watch is much looser on my wrist 😂 It is a random one as it wasnt that tight to beging with.

Hi guys I hope you don't mind me joining in this thread! I had my baby a year ago and have lost a stone since then - roughly around 12 at 7 now (I'm 5ft 9) - would like to lose about 8 or 9 lbs just to take me under that 12 stone bracket. Not long back to work after maternity and I really have lost the run of myself with unhealthy choices etc - feel horrible ATM, sluggish and bloated... Want to get my ass on gear now so I don't undo all my good work so far. Hoping this thread will help to keep me on the straight and narrow!

Welcome! Is there a particular method you want to follow?

Oh I know, seen a post yesterday that someone had lost 1st 8lbs in 4 weeks which is absolutely insane! Surely that rapid weight loss can’t be good for you. The way I’m looking at it is, I’ve losing weight but building muscle and strength. Given I have so much weight to lose and have been big for along time, I’m under no doubt that I’ll have excess skin but I’d like to think the exercises I’m doing will help with that slightly. Unlike those who have a dramatic loss and do no exercise.

P.s - hope you enjoy your pizza!

Yea, probably! At the end of April I put on 8lbs from the Friday to the Monday. I’d been on a plan for the month with my PT, then had a takeaway or 2 and boom. Everyone was telling me “it’s just water weight” but Christ it took well over a week for it to go!

I do feel less bloated and I need a belt with some of my jeans. I also noticed my watch is much looser on my wrist 😂 It is a random one as it wasnt that tight to beging with.

It’s the non-scale victories I enjoy the most! Buying smaller clothes, mind you I still buy 2 sizes just incase. Or not breathing out my arse after running up the stairs 😂. Every time I go down a notch on my Apple Watch strap.

Good morning all - I am a boredom snacker and the only thing that's keeping me at bay is setting up one of these in the morning:

Everything is weighted and I know I can just pick from it through out the day, no guilt.
Honestly a lifesaver <3

Hi all, hope no one minds but I would like to use this space as an accountability log for myself. The past 3 months due to getting married and going on honeymoon, my eating and drinking has gotten out of control.
I put on a pair of jeans yesterday that were always comfortable, that are now pinching and tight and it’s a horrible feeling.

Need to get my tit together and stop the mindless snacking, the takeaways and the celebratory glass (or two of wine) in the evening. The irony is I intended to lose weight for the wedding and I ended up gaining!

From today I will be tracking what I eat and drink on nutra check and staying within a calorie deficit, as well as upping my activity levels. Eurgh just so annoyed at myself for really going off the rails. I have put on a shocking amount of weight (stone and a half in 3 months) and I look awful. 😞
