Shall we start a Christmas Gift Bingo game for all these daft ‘influencers’? On my card I’ll have a retro radio collaboration with Farrow and Ball - yours for £550 in the shade Moses’ Pubes (with matching socks)
She is basically just a QVC presenter in a different format so she has to tell you she loves and buys everything. It’s very distasteful. At least on QVC you know they’re sales people. This is all far more oblique and done under the subterfuge of ‘sharing’ and ‘giving free advice’.
Her latest reel in the Albaray dresses couldn’t be more cringe. Just her loving herself into her phone. She is basically just a QVC presenter in a different format so she has to tell you she loves and buys everything. It’s very distasteful. She is certainly loving herself in that post. I think she is hanging around with other influences and trying to keep up….but she doesn’t have good natural movement. Very blatant about ordering all of the dresses and only keeping lace one. she used to have a style but unfortunately it’s anything that brings in the £££ so she can buy the ugly Prada shoes. She lives in a very strange world now.Her latest reel in the Albaray dresses couldn’t be more cringe. Just her loving herself into her phone.
I follow one of those millennial accounts who is quite funny but she used to be a fashion blogger in the mid 2010s. She did a post on it recently and it was excruciating. All tumblr and filtered in that old insta style. We probably thought it was fab in 2015 and wouldn’t date so quickly. I think these fashion influencers (Kate, Erica, Alex etc.) need to stop and think about the digital legacy that they are putting out there. It isn’t presenting them in a good light and their future selves and families will have that to look back on if they aren’t careful.
