Vogue Williams and Joanne Mc Nally #5

I think vogue is completely obsessed with making money and is addicted.
Maybe she feels inferior to Spencer and his family and that’s why she’s always hammering so hard at it?

Then she’s working with Joanne who is extremely intelligent and unbelievably funny and talented. although they are friends I think it’s just another dynamic where she feels inferior and that’s why she ends up trying to copy her.

After listening to Fri pod it's very clear Vogue is really having a case of imposter syndrome, Joanne must have gotten a book release date and que Vogue getting someone to write her book fairly rapidly (2 months) and her statement "like it's just writing no big deal" it was obvious she didn't write it herself.

The quip about Vogue's mouth size near the end had me howling, try as you might Vogue, but Joanne is smarter & more intelligent & has grafted to get to where she is, that in turn leads her to be more appealing to the public, unlike you, who went from your fathers house to your husbands house & hardly a days work in the middle.

I can understand Vogue wanting to make a name for herself in her own right and make her own money. It must be annoying to be accused of marrying into money and living off Spencer.

That being said she needs to find her niche, figure out what she's good at and stick to it.
Throwing her name to anything isn't the way to do it

Yeah like she always jokes that people never know what she does as if people are dumb, but like what does she do? Shills clothes and Ariel pods and books? And the odd time presents a few B rated shows?

Oh and writes an Interiors column despite having an Interior Designer decorate all her homes 😂 😂 I mean in one way it is clever, but it must just leave you so empty inside.

I'm pretty sure shes not "empty inside!" 🙄😆 Millions in the bank a gorgeous house, 3 lovely kids, multiple holidays a year etc etc. She is a hard worker in her own right. Dont get me wrong I love Joanne but she is single and has no children. There is no comparison. Empty inside? Sorry that gave me a laugh.

Ah here let’s not start that nonsense about marriage and kids making you whole.

You don't need a partner or kids to be fulfilled, if anything Joanne is bucking the trend. She's successful and isn't settling just because society says she should have both.

Vogue hasn't a single unique idea in her head, she grabs onto the coat tails of whatever other successful person is in her circle.

I wasn't I never mentioned her marriage. She just has a nice life!!

Sorry I mean specifically her work. Like you know when you work on something important or useful and it brings you a sense of fulfillment. I just can't imagine that doing an ad for washing powder can't leave you feeling just a little hollow.

Fully agree she has a full life with her family of course. I was specifically referring to her work.

I don’t have kids and I don’t have an abundance of time. Anyway, Vogue has help. She’s not juggling it all herself!
Yeh most women with 3 kids that work have help. It's called childcare. If I had her money I would take every bit of help going.

All joking aside I'm listening to the episode with no bra and ice skating I'm howling!!😂😂
