I’m hoping since the budget came out all the z listers demands for free will be ignored because people got hammered. They need every penny and let’s be honest, how much business does someone drum up by a z lister endorsing you? Serious question. I know after that Catherine tyledsley cake fiasco and the baker telling her a big fast duck off, it brought it to the forefront but I don’t understand the audacity to demand freebies? Did she spend all her money on that trashy wedding after all?

Let’s hope so! Boils my blood this grifting from people who think they are something! 😤

My friends brother owns a well known eaterie in south side of Glasgow and used to get inundated with requests of free meals from influencers. They were told politely to duck off!

A friend of my mine is an artist and gets asked for free customised art and paintings from influencers etc. Again they’re told to duck off. Folk don’t realise the time taken to make these creations along with cost of materials etc, it ain’t cheap and they won’t do it for anything less. People are so entitled and rude!

That cake shop is near me and since she gave her the big F off her business has boomed. I wish more small businesses would call these grifters out, I mean how are they not embarrassed? Bet they’d have a lot to say about people on the streets asking for money, but it’s just another form of begging disguised as influencing, will be glad when their ship finally sails

This is good to hear and I hope other small businesses start doing the same. I’m in the creative business and even people that buy from me have a cheek with the questions I get asked, sometimes asking more than once what the price is. Do they think I am going to lower it? Also I know at times I have under sold myself but what people expect out of me with the other side of my business leaves me gobsmacked. If somebody really wants what I sell then they wont question it as I know they appreciate things that are handmade. I think people I know can be just as bad but I slowly learnt! I can’t imagine what I would be like if wor Vic asked for something for nothing 😡

I wouldn’t have the balls to do it, I’d feel so bloody rude and entitled. My grandad was an artist who painted in oils and the hours he spent doing it I’d be pissed if someone came to him and basically demanded a freebie based off the fact the got on their back on national tv. Hell no.

I’m glad your friends tell them to politely duck off. I wish more people did because I do wonder how much custom they get out of it. All the free sets of nails she used to get, free tan, free hair and make up from her “best mate” who has disappeared off the scene because she’s no longer flavour of the month. Speaks volumes about the type of person that she it. A twit!

Yes!! I love this for them. I bet people go in all the time asking if they’re the cake shop that told that twit from corrie to pay for her own cake. Love it.

My husband is an animator/3d artist and he did some business for a guy in Swansea once. The guy agreed to an amount, signed a contract and then tried to sherk his way out of paying the amount when it came to it. Kept asking for discounts, saying he’d give us discounts on his items when we don’t use them (they were for businesses and not public use) and tried every trick in the book to get out of paying the agreed price. In the end my husband said either pay up or I’ll let everyone know how much of a bad businessman you are in the area and nobody will work with you. He paid up (begrudgingly) and he’s still got my husbands work on his website. Knobhead.

She is always moaning isn’t she? Poor her the train is cold but perhaps she warmed up with the complimentary alcohol you get in first class? And it looks like she is staying at the Hilton. Whenever I used to travel back home I would stay with parents/family as I didn’t see them often but I suppose it’s free for her. She’s definitely a Geordie when it suits her though. I wonder if Mammys do is in the toon tonight. Good luck to them if it is as the match is on at home it’ll be carnage 😂

I think everyone’s problems are real problems, if your diamond shoes are too tight and your favourite pilot for your private jet is off sick, they’re just as much problems to you as everyone else’s problems are to them.

However.

I do think ‘celebrities’ complaining about their very coveted jobs, and the problems with things that are widely thought of as privileges should make those complaints to their friends, family, colleagues on the same ‘level’ and their partner rather than their fans/followers.

I don’t think she is tbh and that’s why she’s going overboard with the constant sharing and posting. Still touting that TV show from a couple of weeks ago as well. Not many people want to watch all that pomp and showing off unfortunately Vic 🙄
