I think these two weddings are so pretentious. If you want a destination wedding go somewhere you can get married legally without having to have a wedding in the UK first. I couldn't imagine walking down the aisle to marry my husband of a few weeks. All for content. In fact I think there may be a thread title there So nice she married him twice.

I think it’s okay if the domestic is a reception only - let people who can’t/don’t want to travel attend. In particular if you want the destination kept smaller. I’ve had family do this, though the reception is fairly casual, and almost serves like a family reunion as well.

Having two ceremonies and all is ridiculous though (especially if they are both the same type of ceremony - can also cut a bit of a break if the two ceremonies are for the two different religions/cultures).

Many will still follow traditions for religious holidays and funerals/weddings though. She’s attended a couple of more traditional weddings with him in the past, so I could see them do something?

I hope he’s in it for the long game. Get the ring, get the baby, get the divorce, get the child and the house. Because we all know he’s keeping receipts. The way this woman is and the way she treats him he must be recording her so there wouldn’t be a court in the country which would allow her to keep a kid, especially the way she gets drunk at the opening of an envelope.

I don't think he's thinking that far he's only there for the money. I don't think he wants marriage and kids but it means he doesn't have to work so he's enjoying the easy life.
