Guyyyyys I’ve been following this bunch of DOUCHEBAGS for years. Ever since the first episode actually but I haven’t watched this season yet. BUT!!!!! My laptop was broken and had just fixed itself? I think it was a sign, I’ve been following ALL of the Rachel (poopoo head) and the stupid looking Freddie Mercury wannabe. I forget his name.
Anyway!! I’m just about to start episode one. Shall I skip a few? 😅

I have opinions on all of these people. They’re all wrong in their own special way.

Count me as one who can't warm up to Katie. You could chalk it up to a bad edit, but her behaviour as part of Stassi's Mean Girls squad was gross. She was one of Stassi's henchwomen when Stassi would treat Scheana like crap. Stassi leaves, Katie forms a friendship with Scheana. Stassi comes back doing her mea culpa tour, Katie is back in her ranks. Boo!!! Was it being in a relationship with Schwartz that made her miserable? Truly, but it hasn't made me warm up to her.

Totally agree I’ve never liked her right from the start or warmed to her, I think she’s very bitter, mean and self righteous and that’s trying to put it kindly. I didn’t like Stassi and Kristen but warmed to them at times and I’ve gone off Schwartz but with Katie my views have never changed there’s just something about her as the sandwich shop says

Yeah I have never warmed to her either. I am though this season. So I’ll reserve my decision for now.

Whether it's right or wrong I would be annoyed and upset if someone from the friendship group was cracking on- I mean there's millions of men in the world, probably thousands in weho alone! I'm not a huge fan of hers but I'm glad she left, their entire relationship was so toxic.

It's such a sibling dynamic like bizaaarely so .

I think the affair started just after Rachel and James proposal - didn't she say on the last reunion that her and James hadn't had sex in a year?

Yeah I think in a different life Katie and Tom would be a decent match but not in this lifetime lol.

I agree, it was so bloody weird that Tom paid for their engagement party I wonder if something was bubbling away beforehand or whether it was the kick they both needed. He didn't seem surprised at all when she said about calling the engagement off but it seems at the reunion like everyone else was? The timeline is all mixed up but gross whatever.

I never watched the previous series so I'm curious now as to see how Tom acted around her
 
I'm addicted to this show even if it is utter trash. They all used to work in a bar, now think they are amazing. Lala used to give BJs to get the Range Rover, what else did she see in him? Katie is just horrid at times, but living with a man child never works out does it? Tom & Tom are both kids still. How Lisa Van puts up with them I have no idea. And then James is another amazing character. So nasty to Raquel, and how his new girlfriend is sticking with him I'll never know.

And all through the taping Raquel was bleeping Tom ..... what a mixed up series

However Brock almost looks hot now he has lost the long hair

!!!!!!!! YESSSS!!! from the very start and I think scheana knows about this, she knows everything and that’s why she’s trying to push Rachel and schwa together. Her actions seem calculated as well and that’s why they’ve projected so much onto that, scheana the schnake knew all about it.
 
I’m really starting to think they all kind of knew of some level including Ariana, she may have thought they flirted and/or he had a crush but perhaps not the rampant happenings that obviously went on; their bed, her car etc. Similarly to how he may have flirted with other men or his fling with Billie Lee. She seems to like turning a blind eye…

There’s a strange part in their anger exchange when Tom says “you know/knew everything” that’s an odd thing to say and also a cowardice way of saying I showed you what was going on, you were supposed to do something about it. Also James’ intonation re Katie last week during Layla’s narration suggests he knew.

I definitely think this fully begun somewhere between the engagement breakdown and the S9 reunion. Some speculate it begun around the time she cut her hair. Either way this has gone off for a while. Agree with the other poster who finds Raquel terrifying… she truly is. Sandoval is the same, his vile behaviour comes from a deep rooted hatred of women.

Also, the Toms had their little 'friendship break' while they were trying to set up a business together. Never really boded very well, did it?

Watching the previous season got me feeling slightly more sorry for Schwartz. He seems very depressed and anxious about the whole bar thing, he keeps trying and failing to get Sandoval to listen to him, Sandoval throws in his and Katie's faces that he's basically funding it all etc. Schwartz basically says he just wants to give it all up, go home (to Florida I think) and open a little tiki bar. He'd have been better off if he had, and it may still come that.
 
Having watched these delightful jokers since season 1 and their screwed up dynamics (LA is a big city, they can't find partners outside of their friend group?), none of this was staged. Ariana and Scheana are besties from their time at Villa Blanca and at one point Scheana was questioning Ariana's relationship with Sandoval that it almost ruined their friendship. Scheana decided to let things be and not question the relationship again. Fast forward to the confrontation at the Heartspring event, where Lala asked Ariana about Tom, Ariana confronted the producers saying she was sick of them always trying to question her relationship with Tom, that she wasn't going to do this and Lala was thinking she ruined their friendship by bringing the topic up. You see that where Lala is less than her usual fiesty self. You can hear it from the horse's mouth about what went down.

 
I honestly feel like Katie and Schwartz whole relationship would have been different if he didn’t have Sandoval in his ear. Just a feeling I get.

Also, irrelevant to current discussion, but Scheana is the cringiest human on the planet I just watched when she made the music video that was basically a sex tape.
