The equity wouldn’t necessarily have been split down the middle. I got a lot more than my ex because I just don’t have the capacity to earn what he does for various reasons. Every divorce is different, and so is the financial settlement. She will, I’m sure, be getting a good amount of child maintenance. She may even get spousal support but who knows really?I don't know but it won't be less than £600k. Old house sold for just over £1.25m, having been owned for 6yrs, so whatever equity would've been split between them in the divorce. She has some inheritance money and he will be paying towards the girls but the house won't be worth anywhere near the value of the old place. My guess is somewhere between £650-£800k. Could be a bit less than £800k top end but I'm working on the assumption that she is in a nice village and has at least 4 beds. I don't think it's more than that because Chris also needs to service the costs of wherever he is living (London?) and I just don't believe that her inheritance pot is large enough to cover the shortfall.

That's all total guesswork though. No idea really
