UK Online Safety Bill

More traction on “protecting children online”. It’s nothing to do with protecting children and it is so mind-numbing listening to parents spout off when they can do more to protect their kids than companies using biometrics, photo ID and algorithms. There is something very off with the Ghey mother and the other one who had a thread on here has piped up again.

Some EU clown talking about EU DSA saying they will rush it through ✋ The DSA’s “main goal is to prevent illegal and harmful activities online and the spread of disinformation”. We seen how that went recently.

Seems like a massive win for big tech, giving them powers to mine more data from users and driving out everyone else. Australia has age restrictions coming in, but no clear plan on how to do it.

The internet used to be a decentralised and open place. It's turning into just half a dozen big tech sites having 95% of all traffic. At this rate that will be 99% of traffic in control of a couple of tech giants in a few years and the state is given back doors to these platforms. Getting very Orwellian.
