Buzzing! Great game from us. Could see the hunger in the lads gameplay. England had no hunger or drive. Thought they’d just turn up and walk away with a win but we brought our A game! Well deserved point to us.

Lots of my English friends giving it the “but you didn’t win…” chat, and you’re right we didn’t but then we didn’t expect to either and we stopped you from winning at Wembley so that’s a victory in Scotland’s eyes 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Definitely! the Scots were on fire tonight they deserved a win , great passing and the defence was brilliant ,those young lads should be well proud.
 
Mr B was absolutely buzzing after the game last night. We both remember the absolute tit show of the world cup in 1998. That was the last time Scotland qualified for anything.

We let our football mad 3yo stay up late as a treat. It was lovely to see him so excited and he said he was going to grow up and score lots of goals against the white team (sorry lads).

Now Mr B has the conundrum of working in London next week and trying to find a pub showing the Scotland match 😂

Central midfield is the problem. England don’t have the kind of players needed to control a game. The best players are all attacking midfielders or wingers. Rice and Philips have plenty going for them but they suit sitting deep and counter attacking. England are crying out for a Scholes beside Rice.

As much as I enjoy an England collapse, I think they will look better counter attacking against the better teams.

I get where you're coming from. Football isn't my first choice generally when it comes to sport but I prefer watching club football to international.

I'm not massively invested in Scottish football and don't go out of my way to watch it, but I'll always want them to win even if I'm not actively supporting them.

I don't know when everything changed for me because I used to have a season ticket when I was a kid/early teenager, although I guess that was club rather than country.

Thankyou :). I know i probably come across as a complete miserable and unpatriotic twit but its just the way i was bought up i suppose.

I absolutely love my Liverpool. I didnt get a choice in what team to support, and my first games was when my mum was pregnant with me. I am a season ticket holder, and follow them all over the country and Europe, and over the years there have been times when i have cried tears of joy as well as many tears of sadness. With Liverpool i am so emotionally invested that the result of games dictate how i feel for the week. But i just dont feel that emotional connection with England. I have tried but it just doesnt happen for me. But i am really enjoying watching the tournament in general, and its nice not to be so emotionally invested in it- i can just enjoy all the games as a neutral while keeping an eye on the Liverpool players and hoping they do well. Last night i was really pleased with how our Andy Robertson played, i thought he did well and today i will be hoping Jota has a good game for Portugal. Plus i always like looking at, and deciding which nation has the best looking team. I always gravitate towards the Spanish or Italians :)

Might not either. Styles make matches and I think the Germans could be got at if England went with pace on the counter attack (Sancho and Rashford could really get at Hummels). As an Irish person I find it funny that the English are up in arms over Grealish when Sancho hasn’t seen a minute yet. England going out without Sancho playing at all would be the most English thing possible.

There’s no one great team right now. France could be as they have a great squad but Deschamps is a middling manager. Mancini is the only manager in it to do anything in club football in the last 10 years.

They seemed MIA in the last match but hopefully you're right. And yeah I guess it is early but you can still get an idea of the stand-outs early in

Plenty of teams have had one good and one average match so far. That’s common in tournaments. Portugal didn’t win any game in their group in 2016 for example. A fuss is being made over something normal in a tournament.
