I know it’s not up to the teachers, they have enough to be doing, doing their actual job of teaching, but surely the head of that school should have words with her? Or the board of management? Those kids are taking up 2 places in a class that they are rarely in. I know ppl in Carrigaline who had to send primary school kids to Crosshaven and Kinsale because they couldn’t get a place in Carrigaline. And then you have this carry on. And this isn’t the last week they will miss in this school term. There will definitely be some trip around Xmas time, and then her week in April/May before it gets “too hat” for the Precious Ferals.
 
School won't step in because they are taking a place up, they were entitled to their place based on school entrance policy, it's just a pity their mother doesn't place ANY value on education.

Keeping a child back, is VERY hard. The school don't get paid when a child does 9 years instead of 8 & it's not as easy as it was back in the olden days (even then in the 80's only 1 kid repeated 1st class and the rest of us went onto 2nd). They also don't like to do it later in school years, so really changing schools & repeating will be her only option down the line if school are not agreeable (and the chance of 2 been kept back!!).

This is approx wk 6 back to school & they are missing a 2nd week, so already have missed 30% from the school year (by the end of the week) that is, in full school year equivalent to 1 full term.

First class has a HUGE jump in curriculum, not to mention in an Irish School they start English, so sounds/phonics etc (if it's like others I know who have total emersion in Irish for JI/SI). And the first term, first half term in particular is the teacher getting to assess them, the SET assessing to see if they need resources (again just going how my own kids school works, everyone is SET assessed in Sept) and getting them settled.

Droolie has no consideration for their future, she said ER wants to be a Vet? So 6 H1s in her future with this start in school, yeah right hun
 
The twins school allegedly put out this statement after the twins started and were running out of school yard in the mornings 💀 💀

I have read through the two wikis...And Im new to her...but why dont her kids go to school...does she say they dont go or why is there chatter on tbe thread about it. Some people are just wastes of space.

Welcome to the shitshow that is Julie😀 Julie pulls them out for holidays / staycations/ nights away during term time. Her excuse re the foreign holiday is its too hot for the kids in the summer months. Also they're only small so not missing much. As she says she doesn't give an eff whether she's gonna get grief from the school. Between that , them been sick and their mother been too hungover to be arsed bringing them its debatable whether they've ever done a full week since they started Junior infants.
