I’m not surprised. The absolute state of that hotel when Rachel Gorry stayed there, and she walking around showing it off like it was The Ritz. “Fabblis, absolutely stunnin” and the place absolutely crawling. The kids play area had toys that looked to be sitting there since the 90s, probably cooking up a new variant in all of the teddy bears thrown around with all sorts of god knows what on them. I’ve stayed in some dives but I was genuinely horrified when Rachel showed this place last summer. It was heaving

I had a severely speech delayed daughter and son and I was at therapy from 2 years of age. They are perfect now but it was hard work and a lot of effort on my side as it was constant gentle correction. I would usually say nothing but to hear them say wimmin poo for swimming pool is really really bad. She has shocking speech herself so they probably can’t understand her half the time. Very nasally

New mam here. What age do kids see a PHN for (I’m assuming not till 4 anyway!) but how has no one flagged their speech?

Kids see a PHN at 2 and again about 4 years of age, my son has very slight lisp and the PHN was on it straight away and has sent off a referral, meanwhile I’m trying to find a private SLT because public waiting lists are so long. We don’t have half the money she seems to have but we’ll go without luxuries to pay for it.
