That night out had absolutely nothing to do with her father. It was just an excuse for a piss up. Most anniversary masses I have been to for relatives are mass followed by a chat in the graveyard. Then back to a local pub for a meal or tea and sandwiches.

I am not gonna comment on having a hangover etc and doing the dog and having to get up but all I will say is she is still drunk. She needs to drink coffee and just be at home today and sober up as if she drives she’s deffo not safe. We have all been in a state and we are just waiting til bedtime for our body to feel like it’s not shaking anymore but she really needs to sober up and try get a sleep or the kids will be in a dangerous position. My kids have never been in a pub for a drink. Yes for pub grub and myself or the hubby might have one drink but that would be it. I just dont see the point. The relationship Irish people have with the pub and alcohol is really concerning.

Those kids have been to a pub more times than I have this year! Its 7pm on a Sunday. Surely they should be winding down, having a bath and getting into their pjs...not hyped up on sugar and over stimulated in a pub!
