Hi guys, so I’ve had a bit of a frustrating morning and wondering if anyone could help. I have been having lots of symptoms - bloat, dry mouth, extreme tiredness, nausea. I’m still a few days (7 lol - my cycle is long) away from AF and thought I’d take a test just to see even though v early. I took one of the tesco cheapy ones, immediately it was negative but I went upstairs about half an hour later and it had a faint positive (?!) but I know they can be a bit funny so got a clear blue 6 days before period one, again, negative BUT an hour later has shown a clear but still faint positive. I took 2 of these at the same time to double check, one is negative and one is positive. Could this be evap lines?! Doing my head in! Has anyone else had this?! I’ve never had any problems with evap lines before when a definite negative (and I know they say to discard the test after 10 mins or whatever but it’s still driving me mad ) the other 2 I’ve taken are completely blank.

Could you try a red dye test? I know they are supposed to be less likely for Evap lines

I've contacted my gp to see if I can persuade them to see me. My gps don't just let you book appointments anymore you have to fill in an online form to see if you deserve one first
I contacted them before about worries to do with my fertility but was told by my gp by email as I already have a child they wont see me. I was dismissed completley which is disappointing, hopefully they won't do that again and I can get some answers

Gosh that’s so frustrating! Imagine having someone read over your issue and assess if they think you’re worthy of an appointment. I get there are time wasters but still!
I hope they don’t dismiss you cos of having a child, it must be hard being in lingo

hi there! I use those tesco ones quite a lot and I’ve found that almost all of my negatives gain a faint evap line like in your pic. It’s still very early days for you though so it could just be too early to give a positive. Fingers crossed for you

honestly I’ve never splurged on a clear blue, sounds so silly but I’m hoping that if I ever get a bfp I can confirm it with clear blue and I don’t want to get too addicted to their super early detection tests x

It is an addiction isn’t it I did a first response early detection after my weird positives/negatives yesterday and the faintest (real squinter) pink line came up within 3/4 minutes so absolutely praying it’s not an evap line it’s deffo not an indentation as my partner could see it too still have 5/6days until due on so will test again in 4/5 days. AH.

Ive had zero appetite all week and my boobs have gotten bigger and felt all prickly / itchy which is not normal for me. I’m not due on until next Friday according to Ovia so I’m not sure if to wait or try testing on Saturday or Sunday

I’m just wondering whether anybody on here was using the implant prior to trying, and if so, how long did it take for your cycles to return? Hey, I was on the implant before having my first baby. Got it taken out beginning of January, had my first period end of January got pregnant end of May

I had mine out in November had my first period 2 weeks later in December and been regular 24-28 days since. I’m still waiting for a positive test!

Errr I had a period straight after ... And again 2 weeks later ... And again 2 weeks later (but I was having periods on the implant too so not sure that helps much).

AF has arrived, but not so disappointed this month as I ovulated so late in the month so kind of expected it.
I’d definitely recommend natural cycles, the predictions are pretty much spot on! Even with PCOS x

Literally to nothing. The blood was brown so old blood I would assume but what does this all mean ahhhhhh it’s driving me insane. My AF is usually quite full on from the word go so v confused. My boobs still feel like they’re going to fall of my chest, still have no real appetite and still so tired I could fall asleep at any point. Just want some kind of definite answer!

yeah same! Not dull but more crampy if you know what I mean
I’ve also got a bit of a headache and my mouth is SO DRY no matter how much water I drink. I haaaate waiting this last little bit, you read into everything!

Yes oh my goodness, my mouth has been soooo dry for the past few days!!! I’ve totally read into it all I feel you, definitely feeling not myself though so will be interesting to see what happens next. Ahh you too lovely! Xxx

This may have been discussed already, what’s the thoughts on having the covid vaccine whilst TTC? Has anyone seen any proper medical advise about it online?

Apparently I have an underlying condition (not sure what lol, maybe a heart murmur?!) so I’m able to get the vaccine but I’m in 2 minds as it’s not been thoroughly tested.

I will probably have it when it’s my time. One of my best friends is a nurse and is also TTC and has had her vaccine. She didn’t have any concerns so that’s reassured me a lot
