I’m conscious that we are edging closer to the point we said we would go for IVF I don’t even know what cycle I’m on now but it’s about 7 or 8, 3 DPO today and I feel like I’m gonna need another month off if this isn’t it. It wears me down so much.BFN at 10DPO. Next time will be our 7th cycle. The time just drags doesn’t it
I was really down last month. I wonder whether it’s going to happen naturally or if for some reason it won’t and we’re just wasting time?? I did enquire with a fertility clinic and had a callback from them but I need to speak to my husband before we go ahead with anything as we’d be paying ourselves. I am not a patient person at the best of times and this is really hard for me!I’m conscious that we are edging closer to the point we said we would go for IVF I don’t even know what cycle I’m on now but it’s about 7 or 8, 3 DPO today and I feel like I’m gonna need another month off if this isn’t it. Good luck!!!13DPO today, had some brown spotting, cramping and headache, and noticed a LOT of EWCM after sex - significantly more than I’ve ever noticed around ovulation. Got a BFN at 11DPO and haven’t tested since, may test in morning if AF doesn’t arrive overnight.
Hello, I am fairly new to these threads. I am 2 months into trying and have not fallen pregnant. I am a 26 year old and my Flo App says im ovulating but i get BFN. Last month i tested BFP (happy times) and then my period came (had a chemical pregnancy). I am really unsure what we are doing wrong. Is it positions, is it the vaccine? i took the moderna vaccine and my periods then on have been weird. I would love to bring a baby in the world but it really sucks when it doesn't happen on our first try. We also notice right afterwards, a lot of sperm comes out but we try to save it and put my legs up...sooorry for graphic i have no one else to run to about all this...
(also, how to relax and be stress free? help an anxious girl out lol) is the foods im eating? i eat so healthy, red meat and chicken, one coffee a day, work in a low stress environment...i simply have no words for myself. honestly feel like a failure. we have no idea....i have no idea,
I am a mess...thanks..
oh thank you. I really want to bring a baby in the world. I am still getting used to the acronyms here so forgive me if i just outright use the word but i used an ovulation test an it came back positive for ovulation(LH Surge) ..whereas that damn app, we were super active when it told me...so we are like super questionive about the app and we think we will continue to take the ovulation test until we are pregnant. is that an ok idea? I took the vaccine October or November, not sure but periods been weird ever sincehello and welcome to the thread!
I know it’s the last thing you want to hear but you are still so early into trying, you could time everything perfectly but there’s only a 25% chance of conceiving each month.. it’s just about the right spent and right egg matching. flo is not the most reliable app as it assumes everyone ovulated cd14. I find using a thermometer more useful to track when I ovulate.
when did you have your vaccine? If it was recent then it have impacted your cycle but if you’ve had afew cycles since then I doubt it would be effecting it still.
Also don’t worry about sex positions/holding your legs up.. enough sperm gets up there but defo keep your legs up if it helps you psychologically just don’t make the mistake that I did and forget to wee and ended up with a UTI!
It sounds like you are doing everything correct but 2 months in is quite early to be worrying.. try and enjoy it as much as you can, don’t put too much pressure on yourselves and keep posting here as this thread keeps me sane!
Using the ovulation tests can be helpful as you can plan sex around it however you can get a LH surge more than once in your cycle and doesn’t necessarily mean you will ovulate.. this can only be confirmed by bbt as your body produces progesterone after you ovulate and creates an increase in your temp. I stopped using Flo a few months back as it kept saying I was ovulating when I clearly wasn’t! Did you have regular periods before you had the vaccine? A lot of females cycles vary by a few days each month and it can still be classed as ‘regular’ .. I think some females assume that regular cycles mean it’s the exact same length each month but that’s not the case. If in doubt just try and dtd every second day as you’re guaranteed to do it on either ovulation day or the day before which is perfectoh thank you. I really want to bring a baby in the world. Okay awesome. Yeah during ovulation we had sex every 2 days and 2 days before and 2 days afterwards, i felt an attachment in my lower abdom but preg test all negative and no symptoms of any sorts. so maybe gotta try again this month.Using the ovulation tests can be helpful as you can plan sex around it however you can get a LH surge more than once in your cycle and doesn’t necessarily mean you will ovulate.. this can only be confirmed by bbt as your body produces progesterone after you ovulate and creates an increase in your temp. also sorry I saw that there were tonnes of spelling mistakes in my last post.. for some reason when I post on tattle it missed out words when I type! Does this happen to anyone else? Lol
I can confirm this about cycles, I have a regular 28 day cycle so assumed I ovulated CD14, but matter of fact is I actually ovulate CD16 and my luteal phase is only 12 days not 14. Also agree regarding temping I use this to confirm ovulation and a couple of months I've used Proov progesterone tests ☺ I'm on my 11th month of trying and found the first few months harder than I do nearly a year on lolUsing the ovulation tests can be helpful as you can plan sex around it however you can get a LH surge more than once in your cycle and doesn’t necessarily mean you will ovulate.. this can only be confirmed by bbt as your body produces progesterone after you ovulate and creates an increase in your temp. Welcome there are so many positives here for you: you're only 26, you eat well, you're avoiding significant stress and too much caffeine. You're already doing everything right and you're in a great position to be TTC. I know it's hard to accept that you don't conceive for no reason, the logical bit of my brain keeps telling me there must be something wrong but it really is a bit of luck alongside having enough sex etc. If you're finding it stressful, maybe try a month of no tracking and just have sex 2-3 times a week? Wishing you lots of luck anyway, you'll get there and I know it's far easier said than done but please don't be so hard on yourself, you're not failing at all.Hello, I am fairly new to these threads. Oh, thank you for your kind words! I think I should get some blood test done for thryoid as I didn’t know about that whilst reading this thread, so that could be a factorWelcome there are so many positives here for you: you're only 26, you eat well, you're avoiding significant stress and too much caffeine. I felt the same after a couple of cycles. It’s really not common to get pregnant so quickly in two cycles. People are so quick to be like ‘omg I got pregnant the second I came off the pill’ but in reality it’s like 80% chance within a while year. Nobody is quick to shout about it taking time because it’s harder to talk about but that’s literally how it is. Just keep being healthy, track to get an idea of your cycle, and each month you don’t get pregnant you can put more money away for when baby is here to buy even more cute clothes!Hello, I am fairly new to these threads. Oh thank you so much! I hope it works out. Would having sex every second day before the expected period come, make it easier? My poor partner lol, must be super tired after having him try and try againI felt the same after a couple of cycles. It’s really not common to get pregnant so quickly in two cycles. Hope we hear a positive from you soon though ❤
Once you’ve ovulated there’s basically no chance of conceiving so don’t feel like you have to dtd until your period comes unless you feel like it obvOh thank you so much! I hope it works out. Lol it’s never “my poor partner”, they’ve got everything they ever wanted - all the sexOh thank you so much! I hope it works out. Would having sex every second day before the expected period come, make it easier? My poor partner lol, must be super tired after having him try and try again
Got a BFP this morning after my second chemical last month…4th time pregnant, but never a good outcome. I think I’m happy, there’s just no joy with it now. Trying to hope and keep calm.
Hey welcome, I echo what everyone else has said, if you are finding it stressful tracking try not too (easier said then done!). Also will echo flow isn’t the most accurate it has never got my ovulation or period right, the dates are often completely different to my iPhone cycle tracker too. Flow this month said I was ovulating last week and my iPhone says this week The best advice is to try and have sex every two days around the time you think you might be ovulating.
