I think it's a bit crass that she's telling people to save a fiver a day....
Does she realise there are people out there that don't have a fiver a day to put away?
Also, saving the money means you have not spent it on something else, she is not "saving" it. Not like she's taking it OUT of her snack box fund.

This time of year there are food bank trolleys in every shop, so many places doing Christmas bags for SVP and the like, and she's on about expensive perfume and sponsoring your friend so ye can have a night out.

Yet again she misses the mark.

Totally agree. A fiver a day is a lot at any time of year never mind before Christmas.

A better angle (for an executive chef) would be to show people how to create a family meal for a fiver. So skip your take away and make this or that instead. Better for your physical and financial health.

Absolutely!! She is supposedly years in to this journey, yet still on the same weights you’d be using 4 weeks in to your fitness. Probably an old pic, and she’s probably at home in the bed eating nachos. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Nothing she does/says makes sense. Not one thing.

Came here to say this. Try paying a mortgage or rent on your own Trish, as well as heating bills, electricity bills, grocery bills, car tax/insurance/fuel and tell me again how I won't miss a fiver a day between now and Christmas 🙄


Edited to add or rent as that's more costly than a mortgage in most cases

She hasn’t a clue. She is so immature for her age and completely tone deaf. We are smack into the most expensive time of the year, the last thing any of us needs is a tone deaf spoiled brat telling us how to save

I was sitting in my car this morning in a Tesco car park- it was early so very quiet. I saw a lady going around from bin to bin- it’s a big car park and there are other shops and cafes around it so more bins than usual. Anyway, she was reaching into each bin to find bottles/cans- I’m assuming to get the 15c back on each one. So yes, I’d say there are MANY people currently out there who are not in a position to save €5 a day to blow on a bottle of perfume. She is away with the fairies
 
The way she goes on it is like she has just invented a new trick to keep her and others accountable (Oh message/tag me) or have a motivation/reward system in place (putting money away/a treat once goal is hit). These are the oldest techniques in the book.

She is under pressure herself with the physical activity now coming into the Xmas season. So she has fixed herself into these desperation tactics and is bringing the gullible Majellas along with her.

Remember 2 or 3 years ago she has pretty much given up any plan/structure in early December.

You can freepost a 1 kg gift to care home residents around ireland.

Wouldn't that be a nicer thing to use your snack box fivers on than a perfume?

I'm doing six. Because I'm just bleeping wonderful.
 
Was watching her last night saying put a fiver away, then thought to myself must remember to put €80 in an envelope for my kids panto outing with school. duck sake, who does she think has all this money just to spend on themselves before Christmas. Fair enough put a fiver away but it'll probably go towards the food shop on Christmas eve not a night away.
 
DH was waiting in his car for me from an appointment. Got in and said going to cook these Tish Lewis's Beef fajitas it came up on the RTE site. I tried to explain who she is the fraud etc without revealing too much about tattle. He is a good man, great dad, husband, not on any social media channel. Do I forgive him for such poor judgement or just let him cook for or horde of children. I am a veggie so wont be partaking or is further action required.
