It wouldn't be a reason for me to stop breast feeding. It should be, sleep deprivation was actually used as a torture method. When you are exhausted you cannot function properly, is she really that narcissistic that in her head her breast feeding has to take priority over everything else on her life.

I didn’t word it properly .. I’d agree no need to stop the feeding entirely but yes at night, she’s absolutely setting herself up for several more years of torture and sleep deprivation .. nobody gets a medal for breastfeeding or bottle feeding but I think a routine would do them all the world of good

For sure. Plus a child that age does not need to be feeding during the night, she is getting enough during the day.

Its just a habit at this stage and it needs to be broken. Won't make her any less of a good mother but oh no tracey has to be a Saint 🙄🙄

The child is feeding for comfort like a soother. She needs to break the habit but soothing her in other ways just like when you take away a childs soother. There'll be more sleepless nights in the short term but once the habit is broken the child will self soothe. As others have said you've had a great journey but shes too old for that carry on. There are no prizes for being a martyr.

This exactly. Surely she is fed enough during the day that she doesn't need to be feeding all night. I'd say PP never gets a look in at that rate, 🤣

My she’s hungry for the 20k!!

Also on the whole breastfeeding thing I think her main issue is she doesn’t say no to the baby at all!! She goes on about willow being strong willed etc but I’ve a girl similar age and also very head strong but I set boundaries for her including bf and we all get a great nights sleep 😂😂
