no, this is them seeining other people say they broke up and are changing it. Those sites are not professional sites that have been contacted by PR they are just copying from other sites.

Also tom and Zawe have never confirmed so there would be no need for this

Take a look at these pictures from Twitter. The picture behind Zawe was painted during the making of the movie Archipelago- and Tom has had it in his house for years (the picture of a short haired Tom is from a video made a few years ago - he had it over his fireplace then). You should also note the white brick wall and the radiator. Then look at the recent picture of Tom (from a video made 2 weeks before Zawe’s video, but aired later). Same wall, even the nail for a picture, same radiator. It’s from his kitchen. There was a picture of him sitting there at a computer from 9 years ago (I’ll try to find it) with a Thor poster hanging behind him.

Here is the picture from a few years ago. Same wall, same radiator.

Just looked at those posts on Twitter, certainly seems to have caused a stir!
Did he take the painting down so people wouldn't know where he was? If that was the case why did she leave the painting up?

Yup, seen those before and I am going to reiterate myself.
Being in someone's house doesn't strike me as proof of them being a couple.
So for me, LetMeRamble, I need other type of proof.
Besides that, let's say that for some people that cannot fathom the possibility of them being friends and doing interviews from someone's house is equivalent to marriage/relationship, the Wiki thing that's going on right now MIGHT have a hint of truth too. Like people break up all the time.
We don't know how they are or were as a couple.
The fact that we DON'T ACTUALLY FACTUALLY know anything about them is what keeps us here, guessing and making conjectures and having a conversation.
That's just my opinion

Yes this his house in London. And for many users, this was proof that they are together. Many people said that Zawe did that extra. But why doesn't Tom have a picture behind it? Well, and what picture is now hanging over the fireplace? But since he's renovating his house anyway, a lot will probably already be packed or cleaned away.

That's it no one knows it could be anything from friends to a couple. But something now is definitely going on from the whole SM entries etc and the total lack of photos

Hear me out folks (and in no way am I saying she needs permission to leave the picture up), but why would you if you both wanted total privacy leave a painting like that up? Yet he took it down. Makes no sense.

Of course this is speculation and me putting myself into this but if it was me and I wanted people to know I was with someone without actually saying it, I'd leave the painting up.

But I'm weird and spiteful and I would be angry if my sig other didn't publicly acknowledge me. It would be a deal breaker for me before it got to the point of spite though. Like I'd be out within a year of that no matter the circumstances.

Who knows though, maybe she forgot it's there. No one is perfect. I am just saying what I'd do if it was me. It's a sorta good way to get what you want without having to do much.
 
Just a word. As I said above in my post, the video of Tom was made 2 weeks BEFORE the video of Zawe. So he may have removed the picture because he likes anonymous backgrounds whereas she always has some art in the backgrounds of her videos (she is very “arty”). In the summer of 2020 she had some videos from the condo in Atlanta which featured a cube sculpture which some Internet sleuths located as being in the same condo as had the blue couch and light fixtures which show in Tom’s summer 2020 videos. Either they are platonic roommates for 2 years or they are living together.

And no I don’t think she is signaling anything by leaving the picture up. She has art behind her in videos she made in Toronto (during the Handmaids Tale filming) and Dublin and as I said in Atlanta). She just likes a nice background. She’s not trying to hide - just living her life.

I'm with you I'd be angry too if my significant other didn't acknowledge me in some way after all that time. It would be a deal breaker for me too. But on the flip side if I'd wanted it to stay quiet and my significant other had left clues Im not sure I'd be happy either.

I think I prefer the version where she is a needy lady who wants to force her man to acknowledge their relationship in public 🤣🤣🤣
 
I think we are all reading too much into this. I really don’t think Zawe is trying to get Tom to “acknowledge” her. I think she just likes art. I’m sure he acknowledges her with his real friends and family and she acknowledges him to her friends and family. That’s why SM follows are interesting. The Internet and “fans” are not their friends and family, so why should either of them want people knowing (and commenting and being nasty as the Internet and “fans” can be)?
