The knitting thing might seem trivial - he’s mediocre at it as I’ve said previously, but the thing that’s annoying about is that just because he’s a bloke doing something he gets praise heaped upon him from the heavens like he’s the second coming. Some of the things he poses with as though he’s made them were made by other, female, makers. I expect the patterns in his book were written by them too.

Vast majority of gay relationship are open I'd say? It's just sex and doesn't mean anything often, just a way of relief LOL. Could imagine sex with just one bloke forever. So I wouldn't judge anyone who is open - just the ones who love themselves a little too much LOL LOL eh?

I've started watching Under The Banner or Heaven on Disney Plus, and it's actually good. Surprised to notice its written by Dustin Lance Black. Begrudgingly have to admit, he seems a skilled writer

It's very good - it's based on the book by Jon Krakauer.

I don't know much about DLB, he seems talented unless it's others doing the heavy lifting and him taking the credit.

Oh I realise that, but his partner admitted to being glad he met Tom when Tom was at a difficult point in his life which to me seemed off

hi! Just discovered this thread, catching up. OK so ages ago when i first heard about their age gap (I didn’t know it was common then), I was a bit worried. Recently though i heard an interview Suzi Ruffell has with Lance and he said about how worried he was that Tom was much younger than him. That warmed me to him a lot.

I dunno about "vast majority", but it's much more common than in opposite sex couples.

I think I find TD unsettling because he looks and acts so young. Obviously he's actually a fully grown man but I think they play on him looking like a 'teenager' so when he's doing things that are actually very adult in nature it's awkward rather than sexy or whatever.

I think it was Sunday brunch I saw him on recently and he was acting like an excited 12 year-old.

But that's what a lot of his fans like, especially the male ones (and probably his husband too). To give him some slack I guess it could be because he never had a childhood. But it seems a touch irresponsible to marry and have kids when you're clearly not ready
