Tom Daley

Men's fashion at the moment is generally terrible.

Oversized and the celebs are falling over themselves to be different and also show their feminine/queer side. Problem is very few are cool enough to pull it off

Most men look best in classic tailoring, maybe with a modern twist
I give you Harry Styles at Paris fashion week.

He's 5'10", I don't think the over-long trousers and boxy jacket are doing him any favours in that department.

The less said about the sparkly cummerbund the better.

If he went for a more tailored suit, black shoes and wanted to keep the breasticle baring vest I wouldn't begrudge him that.
He's 5ft 10"!? For some reason I'd always thought he was shortish. I don't know why.

I really hate the current fashion of overly long, trip hazard trousers.

According to Google and Wiki but I wouldn't be surprised if he's added an inch or more 😁 You'd think his reported height would be accurate as an athlete but I agree he looks shorter!

At 5'10 if he wore a modest lift in his red carpet shoes he'd look 6ft and he doesn't 🤔

The interview I read explained he's from a really tall family, his brothers and uncles - even his grandma is an inch taller than him! He reckons he stunted his growth by training from a young age including weight lifting as his hands and feet are large (apologies for the headline visual):

I was just thinking that for him he looked normal for once

Harry is moving on from the outlandish outfits he was famous for a few years ago. Everyone else is doing it now, or was. Tom is behind the fashion curve. That red carpet outfit with the vest and the glittery cummerbund is the sort of thing that Andrew Scott gets away with, because he's Andrew Scott and never looks like he's trying too hard. Tom is just trying far too hard.

I was in a taxi today and am sure I heard Tom doing an advert for an energy company. He really isn't getting the promotional brands that you'd expect, very odd.
British Gas? Lots of Olympians were part of their ad campaign over the Olympic period because British Gas are a Team GB sponsor. Maybe it's still part of that?

This reminds me, a few years ago Harry Styles went on some talkshow. He went on carrying a giant handbag and ( my memory is a bit fuzzy on this bit) shirtless.

I can remember thinking ' I don't believe you'.

I will believe that you carry that bag and dress feminine, when someone paps you going into a corner shop, hungover on a Sunday morning to buy a pack of fags, and you are dressed like that.

Most of the male celebrities who try and dress 'outside gender norms' for the red carpet look so fake. They look like they throw on a regular jeans and shirt as soon as no one is looking. A few people look natural and comfortable, but most do not.

People always bring up what certain people wore in 70s/80s as a way to say that the older generation are hypothetical for supporting the pop stars of that era and not today. However, back in the day I think that the outrageous dressers had a lot more cool an charisma to them. They did not look like a kid playing dress up with nans wardrobe.

To bring back on track. Saw Tom in his speedos doing an advert for energy on TV. That boy will do anything if they let him take his shirt off.
