I’m was too old for McFly the first time around, my middle son was a fan of their first couple of songs though. Does this mean I’m too aged for tattle?! 😳 I find it hard to see their place in the market today. I definitely don’t think they had such a massive following as Take That or Spice Girls who did the big comeback tours. I’m not sure they’d get the buns on seats.

I'm in my 20s so I have a few friends from uni who really like McFly and some who even had tickets to see them this year so I wouldn't underestimate their draw.
Although I never really got into McFly, I was a massive fan of other (arguably less successful) 00s indie-esque bands of that same ilk and I still make the effort to see whenever they're playing near me - so I can definitely imagine there's enough of a fanbase to fill at least a medium sized venue. The nostalgia of feeling 16 again can be a powerful thing 😂

Are you talking about the time Tom ended up in A&E and a nurse recognised him and was really unprofessional with him. And then looked at Gi and said something like "oh look, mummy's still got her tummy?"

I 100% believe that. I had some awful comments when I was pregnant, people just have no filter. I can image when being a bit excited/nervous about meeting a fan it would be even worse.

I think on the interview she was telling the story and it was Tom who said it was an A&E nurse and Gi looked really embarrassed, I don't think she wanted to give away that much detail about the person.

When the other three get too old to advertise baby/young kids stuff. Then she can repeat the advert cycle. I want to like them because they've been together ages etc but if she's not selling the kids out, she's selling herself as a mum in this weird mix of 50s dainty floral wearing housewife and millennial career woman with no time to run a brush through her hair. To be fair I haven't really watched her content for about a year so I could be wrong lol.

I’m glad you said this, I could never quite figure out what it was that confused me so much about Gi. I haven’t followed either of them for a few years now, I loved the wedding speech and then the bump to buzz video but then Tom started to make me cringe too much so I had to unfollow both of them.
 
I have never commented of this thread before but I have to say I saw this pic and thought she was dressed as mr tumble!
