I thought this too. Even if you don't buy anything she suggests, she'll get an affiliate amount from it anyway. Baffled why she's done it, if she was going to recommend stuff, surely a blog or a grid post would be more helpful to explain why it's recommended?

You're right, they show their kids for adverts, they aren't the best at marking gifted on certain posts etc yet I still like them.

HELP ME PLEASE 😂 I don't mind people getting free stuff as long as they are transparent and I don't know if the reason why I feel differently about them is because they arent attainable given their careers/wealth, as opposed to other insta-fams who have jobs like me and you and then sell us a merry yarn about all the things we can buy because we are like you...

This is actually why I dislike this family so much. They seem like nice people, a nice family and all and there's far worse, but I can always kinda excuse the family vloggers and Instagrammers by saying they couldn't have that life any other way, they sell their children's privacy but it comes for a reason. They wouldn't have the mansions, the private educations, the nice holidays etc otherwise. For the Fletcher's, it's for nothing. They had the money, the fame, the free stuff anyway. I just cannot wrap my head around why they need to do all these adverts using their children's lives and privacy for any other reason than attention and narcissism. It baffles me.

If I was the child of a YT or Insta star and grew up angry at my private life being exposed for all to see, I could be like "well at least it let me live a life full of things we'd never otherwise have". But with these kids, they would've had that life anyway.

That annoyed me too! It annoyed me that she made out that she was being ever so helpful to all of us, what an angel... errr no, you just want yet more bloody money cause apparently your millions ain’t enough.

Then she was talking about her grey hair and I honestly thought to myself, you’re doing this to try and be relatable for people to buy your affiliate tit.

The endless swipe up gif on all her stories and then as a last min change the subject so that it didnt look just like an ad the talking about the grey hair. Looked kind of clunky and disjointed thrown in at the end of the disguised ad (for herself)!!

They’re pretty easy reading. I picked up one or two from charity shops over the years. One was fine (read it in a few hours as it was easy and inoffensive), the other I skipped great chunks of as they were dreams and there’s nothing I dislike more than hearing about peoples’ dreams, let alone reading them! None of her novels are going to be award winning pieces of literature!!

I tried a few times and honestly couldn’t get into them, even tried her latest one some kind of wonderful, hoping she’d learnt from writing with Tom (who, like Carrie actually can write) on Man of Eve which is quite enjoyed but no, it was very very plain. The way I’d describe it is like one of those rom coms that come out in cinema every now and again with the same plot and story just different characters.
 
I always wonder how she really feels about Carrie. Carrie is obviously very naturally talented (like Tom- I am not a fan of his music but can appreciate talent when I see it with regards to being a writer and musician) and didn't Giovanna want to sing in musicals? Or she might have had some success, I don't actually know. I wonder if there's any anomosity there? Just from a couple of comments that I've felt were a bit off. Or lacking. I could be completely wrong of course 🤣🤷‍♀️

I’m assuming Dawn and Gi share the same publisher as the theme is ‘so lucky’ which is the title of Dawn’s new book? Plus I can just imagine Gi bleating on about how lucky she’s been 🙄

How lucky she is to be the only woman in the world to ever have three boys, how lucky she is to never have to take all three out at the same time

She looks fine in herself, the make up was terrible and did her no favours at all. I didn’t notice any bags under her eyes.
