I can't believe Giovanna has written/published numerous books and she doesn't back up her work regularly? I write at times purely as a hobby and upload my work to Evernote/email. She's writing what seems to be a novel on a deadline and has potentially lost 12k words! And it looks like the bulk of her work that was saved to another computer was there by a stroke of luck. You'd think with the big fancy apple computer she'd be regularly uploading to icloud??

Exactly this, how unprofessional is she?? I’m writing a novel at the moment and I save it in multiple places at the end of every writing session, it’s second nature now. I can understand losing a days work if something has gone wrong before you get a chance to save it but losing thousands of words should never happen in this day and age.

I get the relief of having the work back but she’s an idiot in the first place for losing it. This is her job so she should be saving regularly and backing up files in multiple places and all that. Also sharing the video of her crying like that? So cringe. Not everything needs to be shared. They’ve completely lost their boundaries due to their need for validation.

Nothing like over exaggerating is there, she said it was 12,500 words which would be about 15-20% of a novel and Tom is saying she lost half the bloody book in his post.
Getting him to record her sobbing is just absolutely weird, do they have to show their whole lives online, have a day off.
