Haha … well try talking ‘inspirational’ jargon to your kids and see the reaction. That’s a ‘no’ !I am a very practical person, I'm not really one for motivational quotes in frames on walls, or 'manifesting', I see problems and look for solutions, so a lot of that inspirational stuff goes over my head.
I can appreciate someone who is comfortable in their skin, but transparency and open honest dialogue seems to hit the spot for what most want to see and hear.
I can’t watch Nat W’s waffling and inspiring nonsense. It’s not helpful at all. Interesting NW is inspired one day and down right peeved to the point of whining on another.
Not sure why working in a part time or casual position isn’t an option for some of these so called ‘influencers’. Self appreciation and self worth are surely enhanced when you hold a position that earns a wage.
Well I guess an ‘influencers’ response would be ‘I do hold a position that earns a wage’ which is actually correct given they are generating incomes, but the day to day physical contact and social setting is vastly different when you keep your own company day in and day out. The best thing to aid a recovery is returning to some normality. Routine and commitment aids self esteem, even getting up to an alarm clock believe it or not!
