If they carry on their cheapskate park up shenanigans.... prime candidates for the 'aire gassing' mugging gangs.

They are gonna have a shock at how 'non-vegan' the EU truly is - that sort of stuff was always eye-wateringly expensive if you could find it. Plus, shopping in a Carrefour contact is only for desperation purchases. Hunt out a big hypermarket - most are open for a few hours on a Sunday morning. You've got yer fancy new Garmin satnav and yer phone!!

Notice the small, throwaway line he makes about a cinnamon bun being non-vegan.... whoops, ya f$%£ed up there fella. Nowhere worth its salt on the continent will veganish their pastries. About 25.40 in.

In another vein - we've been talking at home... we think Janine is absolutely petrified of him and his possible moods - she almost cringes when he puts his arm around her or goes to kiss her.... anyone else notice that. Also, I bet he lost his s$%t about the bus journey back to the van, there was a slight edgy tone to him as he said we were almost out of the country.... how would you know mate, you can't even cope with 'the small roads in France, Belgium or Luxembourg' or know how to find a decent sized supermarket for your shopping.
 
Arrived in France couldn't get a cup of tea and so decided to leave - Went to Luxembourg, didn't have enough time, so left. The adventure continues. LOL! Dear oh dear, this is amazing rage content for me. :m What are the chances they will make it to Octoberfest??????? Who cares frankly. The weird thing about all these videos is the epic rush they are always in. When you are master of your own destiny surely you don't need to be that way?? No boss to report to, no work to go to, no deadlines to meet... From what I can gather in the UK their route was determined by their appetite and ability to get freebies from Vegan business in line with their other business entity. They have literally nothing to rush for, just loads of dross and exaggerated clickbait content for the masses. The insta 360 footage adds to their aesthetic though, I will give them that. But this is because I want one!

The condensation issue was hugely obvious and hilarious, I was shouting "condensation" at the screen for 2 minutes before he got there and what do they expect when living in a converted REMOVALS VAN, (in case you forgot Liam - even though you had it painted on the side) that is not designed to have bodies in it! Doh. Won't be much time until Morgan is long gone i suspect, I think I said in July or August, I give it a year in that van..

I cringe when he makes gestures of love to her for the camera, all I see is a hideously co-dependent relationship. As much as he tried to hide it, stressed, his aggression came though in that video. Why didn’t they make a nice clip about preparing for the journey by making some food ready to have on the way beforehand. Rather than making it peak stress travelling time. They make everything so much less enjoyable than it could be, rushing around when they don’t have to. Also, I couldn’t stand their brash, Southern accents miss-pronouncing words and the borderline racist, xenophobic, English attitude in some of the comments they made. They’re just the worst kind of tourists. Entitled and ignorant.

Just watched, what a pair of planks. I barely drive in this country but drove just fine in France, including some narrow mountain roads. All the traffic furniture is aimed at you being on the right so you'd soon notice if on wrong side.
Do they actually use Google to look for things like supermarkets?!
They over dramatise everything, the border control people were asking genuine questions but they make out like they got a hard time just for content.
Wonder what Janine got told off about for the about the drone? Clearly upset a local.
 
I would hazard a guess that they haven't bothered to

a) register the drone with the CAA as per the regs or display any reg details on the drone
b) not bothered to do the drone code test and lump over the few quid for the 'pilots licence'
c) done the same as above for the EU - you can do it via Ireland so its in English, I did it in French for the challenge, and its pretty similar to the CAA way of working - mostly the regs are 'harmonized' across the EU/UK/CH for ease of use and understanding.
d) fly as per the regs or in a decent fashion when there's either folk about or over property.

I'm UK/EU registered and the regs are pretty simple to follow and understand.

My ultimate guess is she was probably being a twit and low level buzzing about, rather than blatting straight up to a decent height under the 400ft/120m limit and then getting the footage and getting down, packed up and away.

If you buzz about like a knob, be prepared for someone to get their nark on - but, be legal, be it CAA or EU, calmly explain what you're doing and what drone flying is about. Show the footage you've gathered if you've nothing to hide.

Just be nice about it, as if you're in a foreign country, the person being narky, probably is a resident, and can call the police, before you know it you risk plod getting involved and allsorts of hassle that can ruin a trip.

For those who are interested.... here's a link to the current CAA drone regs.

DJI Mini, Mini2 and Mini3 are in the A1 sub category as they are built under 250g with a camera so cannot be classed as a toy - any add-ons, such as bigger batteries, strobe lights, longer legs might push them over the 250g, but thats up to you if you fancy taking that risk with yours. Mine is just on the 250g limit with a couple of stobe lights to enhance visibility and directional positioning.

They've supposedly left the rat race to live simply and freely, yet they constantly give themselves a race of their own to get wherever it is they've decided to go. Why not leave a day earlier and take their time? It is not good content to watch them constantly worrying about making it to wherever their next stop is. They are the two most moronic van lifers I've ever watched. They'd no clue what language is spoken in Luxembourg - no excuse for the ignorant pair with the answer at their fingertips. No doubt Janine will be getting a cough, cold, sore throat again in the coming months. She already looks as though she's not sleeping well and now the condensation problem. I kick myself for watching them. As for not being able to find somewhere to get a hot drink - idiots.

I totally agree, but their 'content' is all clickbait. Dramatic music in the background while driving on 'narrow' roads with the camera on Janine who looks like she needs to poo. Maybe because the supermarkets in France don't have toilets! They are a joke and Janine looks like she has recently celebrated her 50th not 40th!

What?! I watched their vlog yesterday and there were loads of comments saying that. They will get more and have to keep deleting if they don't like it. All because they wanted the drama of making a big deal about having to show the border guard inside. It's not unusual to have them look inside even if your van actually looks like a regular camper. They are just doing their job! They have made themselves look properly stupid with this one.
Do they never use their onboard loo then? Personally I'd prefer to use our tiny porta potty than most public loos! But then again, we actually spend money on camping sites and with the odd wild night thrown in as I prefer to have dedicated facilities and pay for the privilege.
 
I haven't watched the last 3/4 vids. Just was not interested BUT when I saw they were in europe, oh yes, I knew this was going to be good...

Fancy the customs people thinking the big green removals van with removals van on it was a removal van. I don't know how the french authorities came to that conclusion.
What country is this? Is this luxembourg? what language do they speak? Where the toilets? Where the supermarket? what bus do we catch? Try googling and doing research before you leave the uk.

I could sense anger in Liam and Janine looked scared at some points.

They come across as two 18 year olds on their first trip abroad without mum and dad winging it, not two middle aged adults.

I think there will be more comedy to come. Wouldn't be surprised if they cut short this trip to Europe and come home under some excuse.
